  • It’s fun to use
Style: TR10
Just got this and tried with my hands, it works perfectly. It also read forehead temperature instantly instead of waiting for minutes with regular thermometer. I live in wooded area with many squirrels and gopher that eats my vegetable and fruit plants. With this Everett, camera, I can easily find gophers underground and take care of them, can’t wait to try! ... show more

  • Thermal Imaging Camera
Style: TR256E
At first I thought this was one of those night thermal cameras but it is a heat thermal camera. And, I think, by what I have read and seen in the settings and such, so far, it is a heat sensor identification camera, i.e. it identifies places with heat and the temperature of that heat for things like: "essential for critical applications such as electrical inspections, mechanical diagnostics, and building assessments." I really wasn't thinking of that use, more like taking photographs of heat spots of people and animals. That is what was going on in my head. Now that I know what it is for I can see using this for when I find the house I want I can use it for electrical inspections, etc. There is one thing I do not like and it is the fact that I have to scan in a QR code to get the PC software. I don't have anything on my PC (computer) to scan in a QR code. I am not even sure what the software is for except a secondary analysis. Perhaps I do not need that software. ... show more

  • Great deal
Style: TR10
Useful. Temperatures are shown, especially on hot spots. Slightly lagging, but better than turning on recording on a GoPro. Ok image quality. Very light weighted. Screen resolution isn’t the highest but I don’t recall infrared thermal imager being at this price point, which could be the reason. I will keep this. ... show more

  • Seems to work as it should
Style: TR10
So I've never owned one of these before, I actually got it to check the temperature of some of the breakers in my electrical box since I know it's the one connected to our hot water heater was pretty warm to the touch. It's a very simple product, it seems to work well, I found out that the breaker is within normal temperature, and just for more testing I used it to read the temperature on my rigid impact driver and circular saws. It gives a low temperature and high temperature and mean temperature, etc. The one nitpick I have is for the price it seems a little on the budget build side, I don't know if it would survive a fall from 4 ft or not. It's not terribly build, don't get me wrong. And it seems there are a lot of these that are more expensive so maybe I'm just out of the loop. I'm giving it four stars though because it works as advertised, and I see there's a coupon for $40 off, and I think that's makes it a pretty good deal. ... show more

  • A great user interface makes this an easy tool to use
Style: TR10
Everything accessible via the on-screen menu. I have another thermal camera that has dual thermal imaging combined with a regular camera. You'd think that a dual imaging system would be better...but no...this camera is much easier to use and is also very intuitive with regard to the on-screen menu/user interface. If you're familiar at all with thermal imaging devices, be assured all the 'good stuff' is in the menu - emissivity and sensor calibration settings are available in the menu as well as date/time stamp settings. Setting image type and selecting high/low color representations & temperature ranges is very easy to do with this camera - and can be done quickly as well. At the press of a button I can take a still image, no problems, no scrolling thru menus. I appreciate the simple design and simple controls - I'm able to focus more on my work instead of fussing with a bunch of functions that I don't really need. Charging via USB takes about 1.5 hours and the battery life is better than the other models I've used. I got over 2 hours of viewing and photographing thermal images and still had just under half the battery's capacity. The screen resolution seems quite adequate for thermal imaging, it's not blocky or pixilated. The AGC seems to work really well when it comes to 'white out' - when a high temperature area blooms to take over the resolution and layers of temperature in the image. This camera is also quite a bit smaller and lighter weight than most I have used or owned. The box makes a good carrying case but I went one up on the game and put the foam surround inside an ammo box (for protection) and store/carry this camera in such a way. For the accuracy & image quality, I can honestly say this is a five star device at it's price point. Don't waste your time with those toy thermal cameras that plug into your cellular phone. Get the real thing - this camera is what you need! You'll enjoy the ability to store images on this device and 'download' them to your PC via the included USB C cable. Your PC will see the camera as a removable disk drive. You can manipulate your images as needed. Mileseey offers image manipulation software if you contact their tech support via email, for those who desire. Overall, a lot of bang for the buck! A very useful tool that I use daily. My "Thank you" to the folks at Mileseey for a bringing such a nice device to us! ... show more
