I ordered the cardinal for my cat. I initially charged it upon receiving it and I’m impressed by the big size of the bird. I like the small red light that indicates it needs charged and it has a small on/off switch. The red light turns off when it’s completely charged. It reached a full charge quickly with a USB cable connection. A small pouch of catnip comes with this product which is nice although catnip doesn’t always work on my cat. My 5 year old female cat was initially attracted to the bird but lost interest quickly. The bird sounds are very realistic and I like the movement of the flapping wings. The quality and craftsmanship of the product is excellent. It should last a long time. A kitten and a much younger cat should be very attracted to this bird because they are more playful than an older cat like mine. The thing I don’t like is that the bird doesn’t hold the charge for very long. At most it’s lasted 15 to 20 minutes and then I need to recharge it. The media could not be loaded. The bird is adorable it hangs on a table easily it moves its wings and makes bird sounds but my cats could care less. We have tried three different kinds of catnip but nothing after the initial sniff! They were interested when I put it up sniffing and looking but no one has even touched it. This comes with the bird, a short USB-A to USB-C charging cable, a clamp, a rod, and a bag of catnip. You can use this a few different ways, - just the bird on the floor - the bird on the rod held by a person - the bird on the rod clamped to something The chirping and flapping looks and sounds very realistic. To charge it you open a Velcro pocket on the back to access the charging port. A red light comes on while it is charging and turns off when it's done. The switch to turn it on/off is next to the charging port. Once you turn it on it will chirp and flap it's wings for a little bit and then stop. A cat hitting it or other vibration will start it chirping and flapping again. There is a string with a screw in piece that connects the bird to the short plastic rod. You can either hold the rod like a fishing cat toy, or attach the rod to the provided clamp and clamp it to a table or other piece of furniture to make it appear to be a bird trying to fly. My cat were curious about it but they just seem to sniff at it and walk away. They'll look at it when it's chirping and flapping, but otherwise ignore it. ... show more

This bird toy is cute and it works, chirping and flashing it's wings when it's touched. It is pretty large and heavy though, about 6 inches across and due to the weight it doesn't really move much even though it hangs on a flexible bar/dangly strong. My cats are pretty leery about even approaching it and when I activate it to try to attract them they just stop & stare, so this toy hasn't seen much action. ... show more
