That's no dig against the harness, it's a reality that I got it for a 70 lb. shepherd/hound mix, more as the car harness (utilizing top eye), but we use it full time, hooking the leash to the front eye to 'control pulling' by hindering the shoulders. Corgi owners will know that because of their chest and foreleg placements, sometimes harnesses are a little tricky to fit. The "vest" style ones are almost always a no-go unfortunately, but because this one is mostly belts with a pad, it allows a very versatile fit. That said, I do wish the front pad was maybe a bit wider, but it seems incredibly durable overall so I'm plenty happy with it. Besides, the fact that the pad is on the smaller side does make it really nice for my intended uses for it. Its mostly just for accompanying with the brand's seatbelt buckle, and both will be stored in the glovebox whenever not in use. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We really love the seatbelt harness great value for the money. Seems very secure. We travel a lot, so we feel that this is the safest seat belt we can use for our BEST FRIEND. He has our hearts, and we searched, trying to find the safest travel mode for him without having to put him in a crate. This seatbelt harness. Seems sturdy and very secure. It has metal buckles very reinforced. They were really no pressure points on him that makes it look or feel uncomfortable. We started our dog off with a harness and seat belt when we first got her to see if she would tolerate them! She did and she is a wonderful passenger =) The main reason we love this harness tho is that our Luna is a seizure pup! We put this onto her when she is actively seizing and we can treat it like a suitcase and hold onto her so that she cannot go running blindly around the house when she comes to. There is not too much material on it and at first I wasn't sure about that, but I really do like it more than too much material especially when we keep her in this for a few hours at a time because when she has seizures they are clusters which means she gets multiple one right after the other... sometimes minutes, sometimes hours in between. We bought our first one to use as a safety harness for our dog in the car. The harness is extremely sturdy and easy to take on and off; we use it with an over-the-headrest safety strap. The buckles are very sturdy and we feel that our dog would be secure if we were in an accident. The first harness has been in use for two years and was easy to adjust as he grew.     • Great solution for dogs riding in cars!

10/4/19 I purchased the Mighty Paw car dog harness & the Mighty Paw 32" cable leash, installed it today & I love it already. I've struggled this past 1.5 years to find a working solution to comfortably secure my small-medium 33 pound dog. My dog is too dog-gone smart and figured out how to click out of the leash version that secures into the seat belt latches by the 2nd car ride! Every car ride after, without fail, my dog clicked out until I gave up and let her ride loose in the back. Securing a leash/belt to the child seat anchors inside the seat ended up being a no-go as well once I put a car seat cover to protect my car from all the sand/mud/hair that my dog would track after visits to the dog park. Running the car seat leash through the cover's buckle opening defeated the purpose of the seat cover as a lot of the sand/dirt would get through that opening! My dog riding loose in the back always made me uneasy though as I know from first hand experience that in an accident *knock on wood*, things happen quickly and unsecured items/people/living beings become missiles. FINALLY, I saw Mighty Paws' leash/harness combo on Amazon. The combination of the longest 32" cable leash with the harness allowed me to leash my dog to the child seat anchor in the back of the car (going behind the headrest). Though meant for a large dog, the longer cable allows my small-medium dog to just barely be able to lie down while anchored to the rear child seat anchor. Smart design in having the harness/leash buckle placed lower on the back to brace my dog across her chest rather than across her neck. One "con" is that I wish the plastic buckles were metal (like the d-ring & the ring behind the neck). Otherwise, the harness seems well-made and I plan to use it as my dog's regular every day harness. My mind is at ease now while traveling with my dog in the car (for a reasonable price too!), thank you Mighty Paw! ... show more
