The stools are easy to assemble and height is able to adjust easily. Swirling the stool is very smooth, and the plastic base at the bottom of the stool looks fairly sturdy because the stool itself is considered to be on the heavy side so it does not fall. Once I received the delivery I eagerly open the box expecting to see tons of screws… noooper! Only four hex type screws with visual instructions & 4 steps! Thats it. No second set of hands required, so single folks can get this done easily. I completed one in under 10 mins! After setting up at my bar height kitchen table, i literally put the two old chairs out on the curb and reordered a second set of these babies! These are nice looking but comfort wise they are less than desirable. They tilt forward so you feel like you are going to slide right off on to the floor, Plus they are very narrow.

One chair works great. The other chair doesn't stop when you pull on it, it comes out of the base. Something is obviously wrong, but what a pain to send both chairs back.
