    • Hard to clean filter properly
I like my Miele 3-in-1 vacuum, lightweight and quiet but it is a major pain to clean, especially the hepa filter. If you don't have another vacuum cleaner with a hose or smaller portable one to clean filter with, forget it. Buy another vacuum. I bought a second filter to switch out with the dirty one so I could rinse with water and give it time to dry. ... show more

This is a good filter. Will buy another one today. The vacuum has excellent suction and does excellent on carpet and wood floors, tile, etc. and picks up great amount of dirt, dog hair, etc. The filter has to be cleaned after each use as so much dust is present. For the cost of three of these filters you could buy a whole new vacuum cleaner. After using the vacuum in our home for approximately four years I had to replace the filter because it was no longer washable simply using tap water. You can't buy the filter alone, you have to buy the black housing as well. This increases the cost by about 50%. Again, this item is way overpriced. ... show more
