I've been using the front camera since May 2024. I didn't actually check how it was recording until a car almost hit me. I went back to look at the footage & it was outstanding -- crisp & captured everything I would've needed if he'd actually hit me. (I did forget it records audio as well, haha...I sing pretty good!). I delayed installing the rear cam until late Sept -- thought it would be tricky...nope - super easy & all the cords tucked in nice (a lot to tuck in the back tho). The rear cam started having issues about 4 weeks later -- the display went snowy. I contacted the seller -- very responsive & refunded me the price of my purchase. I haven't seen others report issues with the rear cam, so I plan to just buy another one of these. ... show more

    • Very impressed for the price and quality
I've been using this for a couple months now and am very happy with the performance of it. I just recently watched some videos and even though I adjusted the video down to 1080 I'm very impressed by the quality. Videos are sharp and the stabilization works very well. Audio is a little muffled but not why I need this but acceptable. It comes with a rear camera that you can tie into your reverse lights but I haven't got to that yet. This also comes with a 64 gig memory card that hasn't even started overwriting yet so I have all my files over the last couple of months. Anyway I don't write alot of reviews but I would highly recommend this if your looking for a reasonably priced dash cam, I have a cheaper one if the wife's car but going to order another one of these. I got the $30 one from wally world and it's garbage compared to this so for the extra 20 bucks or so this one is so worth it, I don't see a big difference from my buddies $150 one also. In conclusion if you're looking for a reasonably priced dash cam that works good this is it, it even looks and feels like something higher quality... ... show more

it works really well, so i think? i (luckily) havent been in an accident yet with it, so i havent tried pulling any files from it, but its recording and seems to be working. the install is easy to understand- it comes with an instruction packet and a little flashdrive to get files out of the camera. neither camera blocks my view. the wires are kinda clunky and make my car a little less pretty, but again, its worth it. especially for the back camera tho, if you decide to have it on the inside of your car. another thing abt the backup camera is that the little stickies it comes with to stick it somewhere- they dont work like at all, so i had to screw it into the plastic, but like, im ok with that. yay!!! dashcam!! (EDIT) ok so i got it a while ago, and the little plastic screw to keep the camera secure broke, but i honestly didnt care. then the suction cup gave out, and now its kinda just.. dangling from the roof. it still works, so im kinda just driving around with it from my roof, but i am buying a new one from a different company (and with a different suction cup thing). i tried finding parts to replace the suction cup, but i couldn't find anything. this dash cam will work for a bit, but it is kinda cheap and i'd reccomend saving up for a better, more long term one. ... show more

I liked it so much for my front dash, I bought one for the rear of my car. This way I have 2 that are pretty solid and do a pretty decent job. They are easy to use. I've had one too many close calls with inattentive drivers and a dashcam was a priority for me. This Miden unit reviewed well and met my criteria. I was pleased with the packaging and installation wasn't too hard. I actually have a trim removal kit from another project so I used that but I believe the tool they include would be sufficient in most cases. The included 64gb card is a nice touch, saved a few bucks not having to provide that myself. I don't need the reverse camera or 24 hour parking features but they're definitely a nice to have at this price point. Video quality is good, even at night, and it provides peace of mind that if there's an incident, I have footage. Overall, I think this is a good value and if you're on the fence this could save you thousands in insurance claims. Protip -- If in an accident don't let the other party know you have a dashcam. If they decide to fudge the truth to the cops you can simply present the evidence after the fact. ... show more

I just want a working car cam with a reasonable price. Easy to install — not following the instructions for the back camera, however, as that seems too much work for me. I only tried to stick it behind the back seat. Got it for 2-3 weeks only. It works well and as is supposed to. Some complaints about not being able to keep the front camera mounted, but mine does not have that issue. It was sticking to the front window the whole time. I hope it will last for a long time because my review can only speaks for the first few weeks of experience. ... show more

When I first installed this dash cam, I was excited and impressed. For the price tag it seemed too good to be true. Unfortunately, in the summer heat, the rear camera has deformed and now is bent at a crooked angle despite me trying to bend it back in place. It won’t hold anymore and only shows me my trunk. As for the front camera, the sticky adhesive has completely come off the camera, and I’ve entered my car multiple times to find the camera dangling by its cords, not attached to the glass at all. The cameras themselves still work, but it’s disappointing to have everything else falling apart. There’s not really a point in having a camera if it won’t even stay in place. (I carefully installed everything according to the instructions.) Amazon won’t accept it as a return anymore so I suppose I’ll either try to jimmy rig the cameras back into place or just chuck the thing. I’ve only had it installed for three months at the most. ... show more
