I was hesitant on buying this refurbished Xbox One X console because of the horror stories I have heard about renewed ones. I took a chance on this one and it has turned out to be great! The console was very clean and had no visible marks or scratches on it. Although the controller did have a scratch on it but it did not interfere with game play. It did not come with the original retail box but did have the necessary accessories to hook it up. I was surprised that it turned out to be a great buy after all. Overall the system looks great basically new and I have not had any issues with it.     • Problems
When I got the xbox one x I plugged it in updated it and it powered off after I played one match so I turned it back on looked online to see what could be happening. There were a few suggestions of airflow and ventilation and a couple about power strip issues. So I moved it from my power strip to the wall and move I'd all the way to the edge of my desk. Played 2 matches and it powered off. So I turned it back and and put my fan 2 ft from it and pointed directly at it directly at it. It was only shutting off while running a game and the last time I was at the home screen and I was done. When I messaged the seller about it the first time it was late but by the time it powered off the last time I wanted nothing more to do with it. So I requested a refund this was all done within 3 days i printed the label friday dropped it off friday. I recieved the xbox on the 22nd and had repackaged and shipped it the 24th. I have still been talking to the seller about how I was sorry I had asked for a refund I dont like sending things back. The said that it was under warranty through microsoft and I should send it to them then if they cant fix it get a refund. This is unacceptable to me if you advertised a renewed xbox and send it to someone it should work or they get there money back. They recieved my xbox on 04/28/2020 it is may 2nd and they just asked me for the tracking number? Amazon gave me the label so I'm sure they also have a copy of the label that was sent and I have yet to hear about my refund. This is frustrating. ... show more

Controller that came with the console had insane stick drift Edit: the controller I think updated and now works fine I apologize for my incompetence

After seeing many mixed reviews I was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished Xbox. In the end I decided to go through with it. My main concern with it being refurbished was that many consoles didn’t work or turned on just fine the first time but the following time it stopped working. I’ve had mine for about a week now and it’s been working very well. Coming from a first generation Xbox One to the One X is quiet outstanding. I play on a 1080 TV and the quality of the picture is outstanding, it’s more clear and smooth. One down side is the price. You could get a brand new Xbox X for that price. Amazing price!!! I took HOURS reading all the reviews because I didnt think this was an actual Xbox One X. I saw a lot of bad reviews so I was deciding not to get it, but my wife said to just try it out it has at least a 4 star rating. Let me tell you people, ITS 284 FOR AN XBOX ONE X! THIS THINGS GO FOR AT LEAST 500$ so it's an amazing deal. Been using it for hours and hours and days non stop and this beast is still going hard. Again it's an XBOX ONE X for 284! You are saving at least 200$. I would recommend this to ANYBODY! I also wanted to wait a few days to write this review just in case I had a problem with the xbox, so far NONE.
