Came bubble-wrapped with the back paddles, no case, cord, or extra sticks. I actually prefer it to my elite 2 (which has one shoulder button that needs to be hammered to register any press.) Controller is in fantastic condition and works just as it should. I love it. PSA: these controllers (both generations) are notorious for issues. Nice controller but I’ve only had it 2 days and there’s already an issue with one of the triggers. The “LT” trigger only goes down half way. When playing shooters which I specifically play, when I hold down LT it’s acting like I’m spamming it even though it’s pushed down as far as it will go, which is only half way. The other trigger goes all the way down, so why is this one all of a sudden going down Justin half way. Kinda bummed ... show more

Absolutely love this controller. It works perfectly, even better than the 1st gen Elite controller I have in black. This one is an updated version. It does NOT come with the gold parts. I bought those separately (Snakebyte, here on Amazon). It was super easy to disassemble, mod the controller, and reassemble. If you’re a casual gamer, it might not be worth the price tag. But if you play often and want a sturdier controller with a few fun extras (trigger locks, optional paddles, customizable thumb sticks), I do recommend this one. ... show more

this is a must have for competitive FPS players. The controller is well made and gorgeous and has more options than my $200 SCUF PS4 controller. The toggle buttons in the back come automatically set up for jump, crouch, and weapon swap. The optional trigger locks are a neat touch as well and can be turned on and off w/a switch. I like a lot of things about this controller but the quality is garbage. I’ve had mine barely a year and the Left bumper won’t come back up all the way and the plastic piece and be pulled off very easily. For this price, you should be able to get more than a year from it.

    • It’s a good controller. It is not an amazing controller.
This controller has four paddles under the grips that are easily accessed by your fingertips. Once mapped, these paddles make it easier for you to access the primary or most used buttons (like the left bumper or right bumper) during aggressive game play. Maybe even to easy. If you aren’t careful when you put down the controller, you might easily press one. My only real disappointment was with the button mapping. In many games, it’s common to need to press two buttons at the same time in order to perform a third function. For the amount of money involved, it would have been nice to be able to map a combination (example LEFT BUMPER plus X) to one paddle in order to reduce the number of movements necessary to perform that action.     • Broke after 2 weeks, warranty replacement was sketchy
My elite controller made it 2 whole weeks before the left thumbstick bent, dislodged, freely rotated, and stuck to the sides. That wasn't even the most frustrating part. After navigating MS's mind-numbing forums in search of warranty and contact info for an hour i finally reached a live human online. I was pleasantly surprised to find the shipping and replacement process relatively pain free - except for the fact that I sent back the box that Amazon sent me including everything that came in it. Apparently I wasn't supposed to do this, a fact that my online rep failed to mention to me. Microsoft replaced my controller but didn't send me back any peripherals or the case the controller came with!!! After two follow up calls I've gotten a 'call-back' response and a 'we'll call you' and now it's been silence. Awesome. Not what I would have expected for 150 fracking dollars! On the other hand, the controller does feel good in the hand and is responsive. But $100 extra good and responsive? F no. ... show more
