I've had these pots and pans for 3 years now. For reference, I am a vegetarian and eat a mostly healthy diet. That is to say, I don't use a lot of butter or make a lot of fried foods. Additionally, I only use silicone/plastic utensils on the pots and pans. I also exclusively hand wash them using "mild" soap. So, this set has been fairly gently used. They are in ill repair. Both pans are stained to high heaven. The natural protective coating is gone and everything sticks to the pan now. I have scrubbed the bottoms/outside (using scrub daddy sponges as to avoid sanding the surface) to prevent that weird, sticky oil-stain build up, but there are still some visible spots. The pots are mostly fine as far as stains, which they should be because I mostly use them for boiling water or making plain oatmeal from time to time. I actually should've replaced them last year, but I'm stubborn. Thankfully, I waited the right amount of time for the Bed, Bath, & Beyond clearance sale. I will be tossing this set immediately. If you're looking to match it to your kitchen decor, go for it. If you actually enjoy cooking, do not purchase this set. The stoneware is for the looks, not for the cooks. ... show more

Had this pot set for 1.5 years now and it’s still great. I cook pretty much every day. The only thing that I dislike me is that the screws of the lids come loose pretty much every time I wash the lids but the pots and pans are super easy to clean, non stick and good quality. Just contacted costumer service to request a replacement for a lid I accidentally broke because I dropped it. Will update review on customer service once I hear back. ... show more

I have a copy of the Amazon ad for the "MICHELANGELO ULTRA NONSTICK GRANITE POTS AND PANS SET, and nowhere does it mention that you can not use them on high heat. Only when you open the case do you read that information in the care instructions. I do a lot of cooking, and in my opinion, what good is a sauce pan or a frying pan if you can't turn the heat on high? The ad also indicates the non-stick lining is "stone-derived." It also says "No chipping. No peeling or flaking." This makes it appear to be a hard stone surface, when in fact it's a rubber-based lining stretched over the aluminum. The ad says 'ULTRA NONSTICK COATING SCRATCH RESISTANT - Made with stone derived nonstick coating inside and out; the instructions in the box say use only nylon or wood utensils. I read reviews (after questions arose) and I understand many have had problems with scratches, bubbles and peeling of the lining. I've had these pans less than a week, used a couple pans once - it takes forever to heat on medium heat. I do not have any bubbles or peeling yet; however, I'm truly unhappy with my purchase based on the above comments. I would have been more satisfied with a $50 set of pans! Now I have a huge problem. My husband took recycling out the day I got the cookware, and I didn't realize he took the box for these pans to recycle. Is there any way I can return them and get a refund without the original packaging? ... show more
