I don’t write reviews for every single thing I buy on Amazon. Hopefully I help someone in their decision to buy or not. I have wanted a device like this for a long time! I’ve tried razors, both the regular ones and the detmaplaning razor you can buy at various stores online and brick and mortar stores and I always and I mean ALWAYS cut my face! To say I was apprehensive is an understatement but I went ahead and charged this immediately after it arrived, slid in a new blade (made sure it clicked into place) and waited. It says it takes, I believe, 8-10 hours for a full charge? Seems a bit excessive but I waited. When it was charged I decided to start on my forehead and it has the most tight skin. I was really surprised at how easily it glided over my skin. And yes, there was actually hair and dead skin that came off my forehead! I followed several YouTube videos I had watched on technique and I was absolutely shocked at how much fuzz and skin cells came off! My skin is baby smooth! This device is so easy to use but I highly recommend not only following the directions and get a full charge but watch some how-to videos because the angle you hold the blade makes all the difference! I chose the lavender colored dermaplaning device. It’s not super bulky and can easily be kept on your vanity. This is the second Michael Todd device I have. The first is a facial massager for your serums etc to absorb and to drain the lymph nodes. It’s also lavender so I store both on my vanity with no ugly bulkiness.
