First this makes walking 18 holes so much more enjoyable - at 58 I’m far less tired after a round of golf. This is a great buggy, speed at 5 is good at 6 it’s brisk and I can’t keep up with 7-9, so won’t ever use that speed. For the money and lithium 36 hole battery life, the quality of this product, I don’t think you can beat it. I wavered on a remote control version but once you set the direction and speed, very few adjustments are needed - it does the work. Smooth and extremely quiet which was important to me. I never have written a bad review on Amazon nor on a particular company. This is the first. I Purchased this new MGI ZipX3 on Amazon and had five successful 9 holes on a flat golf course and on the start on my sixth golf game it just stopped working. My golf buddies and I went through all the FAQ’s, followed all directions. The cart never was in rain, never wet, nor was in any bad weather and just stopped working. The battery was fully charged and the wheels were in gear. I am so embarrassed because I talked and bragged about how I thought MGI products worked great especially with this electric golf cart. I am the laugh of my golfing circle. I wish I could get my money back, but that time has expired. I purchased on March 6, 2024 and sent it into Las Vegas Nevada warranty service center on May 6, 2024. So only used it for two months and five 9 hole golf games. I sent it back to the MGI Las Vegas Nevada warranty shop as directed and it’s been over a week and no sign of a quick turnaround. I am really bummed because I sold my previous push cart because I thought this MGI ZipX3 was going to work. The Las Vegas warranty service shop is not quick to respond to email and rarely answers the phone. They did say it’s in line with others to get fixed. My question is how many need fixed and why? I wanted to update my review after my recent experience. First, this cart, or my specific cart, will only last 27 holes at best. That might not be bad except I am on an executive 4500 yd course and that flies in the face of the company’s claim of 36 holes of a regulation length course. I was referred to an independent, authorized repair service whereupon I was told the cart should be on its charger whenever not in use. This would imply it should be charged after every round. Not really happy about this situation or how the company is handling it. Also be aware of warranty and return policy. Not customer centric in terms of who bares what cost. It’s all on you the customer. I have had my cart for about 5 weeks. Using it 3-4x a week. If I’m being honest I didn’t want to pay for a remote control option and thought this version would suit my needs. Unfortunately, there are some design flaws that are more of a nuisance than anything. 1) the rear anti-tip wheel fails to keep the cart moving if the hill is too steep. Your cart will spin and tip over. Unlike the remote version there is no ability to extend the rear wheel. 2) the speed dial was designed wrong in my opinion. There are no detente movements to let you know that you are dialing from one speed to the next. This is a problem if you should accidentally spin the dial and it takes off on you. 3) accessory options to attach to cart are not cheap. 4) the variations in speed are significant as the battery is utilized. One day “4” is a good pace. The next day you have to dial up to 5 and on my 3rd round it was 6. ... show more

As an avid golfer for going on 30 years, I have been waiting for a lightweight, affordable autonomous golf cart. These have been available for decades, but were incredibly heavy and cumbersome (early models used car batteries. Imagine disassembling that after a crappy round), and way too expensive. Not anymore. The MGI Zip X3 is both lightweight and affordable. With the money I save on cart fees and the amount of golf I play, this baby will pay for itself in less than a year. Not to mention that starting in 2022, I get to pay senior fees! Whoooooo! Golf just became cheap! The MGI Zip 3 is great. it folds down easily to something not much bigger than a 3-wheel push cart. Attaching the battery is effortless, I could go on. I chose the X3 rather than the X5 because I didn't want to pay extra for the remote, and I'm glad I didn't I just walk near to it, next to it, or behind it, making what adjustments to its course I need to as I walk, and a round of golf is a nice stroll. Battery only last 5 hours. So if you decide to have lunch with your buddies in golf coarse put your cart in car first. I need to buy score card holder it doesn’t come with it. Overall it helps and make golf easier. Weight is ok, performance is good, material looks cheap.

I got this for $200 off during a black friday sale. Definitely a bargain. Has made 18 holes a pleasure as I play 200 to 250 rounds of golf a year. I did not feel the remote control was worth the $. Registration was a breeze and the unit has performed well after 20 or so rounds in the Oregon winter wetness. After 18 holes the battery level is still in the green. ... show more
