  • Love the Navigator AT!
The media could not be loaded. The Zip Navigator AT is a fantastic cart that increases my enjoyment of the game. With this I can walk 18 holes now which I haven't been able to do in many years even with a regular push cart. This cart has handled everything I've thrown at it. I've purposely directed it over rough terrain, steep inclines/declines, and in less that ideal weather conditions. Not once has it failed. It is very impressive how it handles all these obstacles with ease. It's very compact when folded up and fits with my clubs in the trunk of my hatchback. It's very responsive to the controls from the remote and very easy to operate. Battery life is also impressive. After 18 holes only one bar was used on the indicator. I think 36 holes is a reasonable expectation but not sure I'll ever be able to fully test that. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Top Pick Indeed!
Compact, lightweight, all-terrain balanced, supercharged, easy to set up, use and fold up. Carrying bag accessory works great to keep lifting easily controlled and vehicle trunk clean.

  • Can be Modified for use in Sporting Clays
This is a sleek, well-made, and ingeniously designed piece of equipment. However, I didn't want it to haul around a golf bag, but guns and ammo on sporting clays courses. Nobody makes a battery-powered shooting cart that I know of. It's not hard to figure out how to hold the guns with pieces from Home Depot and Rugged Gear. Holding the ammo was harder. I bought a pair of bags used to hold groceries on a bicycle, but I could not find a way to mount two such that they were both high enough (to avoid dragging on the wheels) and far enough forward (to keep it from tilting backwards). One bag easily holds a case of ammo, which is enough for most days. I also bought MGI's utility bag, which hangs on the back, to hold miscellaneous stuff. It's not shown in the pictures. As far as the cart itself, I've used it twice. It has plenty of power to climb hills and the battery had more than enough life. A couple minor complaints: the stop/go button is easy to hit accidentally, and the speed dial is hard to adjust when going over rough terrain. Other than that, if you want a self-propelled cart for sporting clays, buy one of these and have at it. ... show more

  • The good and the not so good...
Let's start with the positives. The MGI is extremely easy to set up. Basically put the wheels on, which took about 30 seconds in total, unfold the cart, add the scorecard holder, umbrella holder and cup holder, attach the battery and you're in business. Very easy to fold and unfold. Operationally, the cart is very responsive to the remote and is generally easy to control. It did have a problem on a wet hill and the wheels just spun, and it needed a bit of assistance from me pushing to make it up the hill. Going downhill the speed control kicks in so that was no issue. There was an issue on a side hill, and I'm not 100% sure if it was the cart or operator error. It made walking very easy and the battery on the 7 mile walk would have easily done another 18, if not 27 and the remote showed 100% at the end of the round. Now for the not so good. I switched my stand bag to a cart bag as suggested. My cart bad is a Callaway and I'd label that as the most disappointing part. Using the straps provided to attach the cart didn't fit the design of the bag and multiple times the straps came off the top, and bottom. It's frustrating in the middle of a round to need to reposition everything. Not sure if it's a ploy by MGI to get you to purchase their bag or not. The second thing that needs improving is the umbrella holder. I'm not a tall person at 5'11", and I couldn't fit under the umbrella easily without having to hunch over a bit as my head was consistently hitting the bottom of the umbrella. Looked on the MGI site and they have an "extender" so they recognize the problem. But, I have to pay for that and of course, they're not in stock, either. I'm sure after 3-5 rounds everything will be second nature but controlling it takes a bit of learning. ROUND 2 UPDATE A couple of takeaways to share from the second round with the MGI AT Navigator. Definitely much more natural controlling the cart. Did have an issue going up a somewhat steep hill. THe 5th wheel was fully extended yet the cart started to tip over. Caught it but still had some things spill out including the Garmin GPS from the GPS holder. The second item is the straps either need to be more adjustable or shorter. Used a different bag yesterday and the straps needed to be wrapped around twice. I think I'm going to do a modification and drill a couple of holes where the straps are now and put in bungee cords. That should provide the security that the bag will stay attached to the cart in any conditions. ... show more

  • No more back pain
Worth every dollar to move my clubs around the golf course without lifting a finger. The remote controls speed and direction and allows me to stop the cart on a dime. Great investment.

  • Unit not new and missing manual.
The unit delivered was not new in the box. It appears to have been assembled previously and used due to apparent wear on the wheels. it was also repackaged shoddily with damage to the inner packaging. Additionally all manuals and documentation were missing from the box. Very disappointed.

  • It’s a winner!
After lots of research, this is the one. He LOVEs it. Noted that it took a little practice working it around different courses and terrain. But digs being able to walk the course and not push, lug or pull walking cart. He did need to add a bag for some of his small golf accessories to have at his hands. . ... show more
