  • Good set for your favorite card games.
Style: Blue/Red
We like to play solitaire while watching TV. A lot of paper decks have fallen by the wayside, crumbling under the weight of the heavy usage. We were skeptical of these plastic cards as previous ones we’ve tried stuck together and had coatings on them that made them hard to shuffle. As soon as these arrived, we put them to the test and started shuffling right away. We were wary at first as the boxes fit the cards so well that we struggled to get the flap up to open the box. Once the box was open, we started our inspection. They didn’t stick together and there is enough texture on them to make it easier to grab and hold onto. They also didn’t slide around when placed on top of one another as other sets have done. Having the larger print numbers, letters, and suits are helpful. They are also waterproof. I checked. We’ve had a few decks get warped from spilled drinks. I have to mention that they have a peculiar smell. It doesn’t seem to transfer to skin, but if you’re one of those who likes to play with the cards close to your face, I would rethink that strategy. Give the cards a good once over with some soap, or be prepared to wrinkle your nose. We loved that there were two decks in this set. It meant we didn’t have to fight over who got to use it next. I'm not sure how they're going to hold up during the heat of summer if we use them outside, but for winter indoors, they will do fine. We’re pretty happy with this set and can recommend it for an exciting night of solitaire while bingeing TV. ... show more

  • Easy to read and shuffle
Style: Blue/Red
I really love these Metsyth Plastic Playing Cards. I expected them to be really thick or stiff since they are plastic cards but to my surprise they are not and are very easy to shuffle. They are smooth on the backside and have a fun texture on the front side. That texture that some stickers used to have that as a kid you scratched them and could make a fun sound. Anyway, I really like the texture for gripping and they are easy to handle. The large clear print is perfect for playing with a variety of relatives. What I love the most is that these are waterproof and can be washed or wiped down so they don’t get sticky from food or drink and especially can be disinfected from any germs. I also appreciate that this is a set of 2 decks because more times than not we need multiple decks to play. They equally priced to other large print decks. I fully recommend these playing cards. ... show more

  • water proof
Style: Lake Blue/Red
Its pattern is very distinctive and easy to identify. But the price is much more expensive than the American bicycle brand Poker, but its selling point is that it is waterproof. The cards are also very stretchy and soft. This size is also suitable for people with small hands. If you are a magic fan, this is also a good set of playing cards worth collecting. But its surface is rough, so some tricks for displaying cards are difficult to operate. ... show more

  • Excellent quality plastic playing cards
Style: Blue/Red
I was reluctant to order these playing cards because I’ve purchased plastic cards in the past and was disappointed with how slippery they were. The cards would stick together and they were not easy to shuffle or deal. I’m very happy to say that I am pleasantly surprised with the Metsyth playing cards. The plastic makes them a heavier deck, but they have the appearance and feel of a regular paper deck of playing cards. They are smooth on the back and have texture on the face of the card for easier handling and dealing. The cards are flexible and shuffle well. When bridged they return to being flat and do not stay bent. The printing is vivid and clear. The larger print makes it easier for everyone to see, especially when playing with a larger group. The cards are waterproof. They can be placed in water and cleaned or wiped down, which is such a plus when playing near food and drinks. What an excellent value for 2 decks of quality plastic playing cards! ... show more

  • Bigger print, but thinner playing cards
Style: Blue/Red
Was interested in these cards as they had a large print. I'd say that is true. You can see in the picture the card on the right is Metsyth Plastic Playing Cards. Card on the left is your standard Bicycle Playing Cards. Cards did have a nice texture feel, but they are thinner than the Bicycle Cards. Shuffling the card, you can feel that they are much thinner as they bend/flex a lot more than the Bicycle Cards. The Bicycle Cards feel stiff like Las Vegas Casino cards. And at double the price, I'd question if they were worth it. ... show more

  • Awesome value
Style: Blue/Red
These are two decks of PVC cards. These are 100% waterproof and there is no trace of paper on these cards meaning they should last a while given they don’t get bent or torn. The two sides of the cards have different textures, and the back of the cards are mostly smooth (you can feel the ink layers). The front of the cards has an interesting texture, it feels like a dot matrix to help trap air to create a cushion when sliding on a table and I can attest that these cards will slide for a while on a table. The legend is nice and large and the inclusion of jokers makes the deck perfect for games of rummy. I am very happy with this deck and would recommend it to anyone who plays with cards. I found that the cards shuffle easily since they are nice and springy, and they don’t seem to remain bent as easily as paper cards. ... show more

  • Excellent budget all-plastic cards
Style: Lake Blue/Red
Nicely textured large-print plastic playing cards. Once you try plastic cards you'll never want to go back to paper cards again: they may cost 5 times as much but they easily last 10 times as long and they remain easy to shuffle and deal through their life. Interesting paisley design on the ace of spades. Do be aware that these are the so-called "poker size", 2½ inches wide, whereas both bridge and poker are usually played with cards 2¼ inches wide (if you use a dealing or shuffling machine, you may find these don't fit, and if you play a game where you hold a dozen cards in your hand you may find the wide width and the large print make it hard to see all your cards.) ... show more

  • Great value
Style: Blue/Red
I really love that the cards are not big and bulky. They’re light weight. Comfortable size that makes it easy to shuffle. The cards are waterproof which I feel will help them last long. Both decks come with both jokers which mean alot to us who play Spades!
