Bach, to original marimba works written by contemporary composers expressly for him. • The Fundamental Book
This is the fundamental book you need for studying marimba. Has good pictures and exercises of all levels to help hone your skills, for 2 to 4 mallets!!

  • Essential Read
If you're a marimbist, this is an essential read. Even if you don't use Stevens grip, this is much more than how to hold the mallets, but how natural motion/movement aids in sound production. I urge you to read and play through this book multiple times. Lifetime of lessons in these pages.
