    • Poor quality
Every video file was either corrupted or unreadable, regardless of the memory card or the computer I used to read the card. After the camera has been filming for a few minutes the buttons stop working so the only way to get it to stop recording is to turn it off. The auto-focus is spotty and only works some of the time, and often gets 'stuck' at a particular focal point. Again, the only fix I could find was to turn the camera off and on. It could not change focus mid-recording, so I wasn't able to film something in the middle distance then show a close up without stopping the recording to fix the auto-focus, and even then it couldn't focus on anything closer than 18 inches away. The zoom buttons and record button on the detachable handle never worked. I was never able to see what the video or sound quality was like because every video file was either corrupted or unreadable, and I used multiple SD cards and 2 different computers to try and read them so I don't think it was an issue on my end. This was much bigger than I thought it would be, the camera alone is the size of a 5lb bag of sugar. This ended up being too heavy and cumbersome for the project that I intended.     • Great Camera With Great Accessory
The media could not be loaded. I've messed with some really cheap video cameras. This was better than those. While it doesn't quite feel like a professional grade camera, it comes a lot closer than most of the offerings I've seen. The image quality is pretty good. Low light recording is excellent. The optical zoom is great. I'm not a fan of digital zoom. This camera has a bit more automation and a bit less manual control than I generally care for, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.     • Buggy Amateur Video Camera. Mic Way Too Hot.

The media could not be loaded. It took about 10 minutes to put together, and the instructions--while a little poorly translated in parts--helped. The attached mic requires you leave the accessory port open, and the audio input "off, low, high" works best in the middle setting. The focus is a little twitchy and requires tapping the camera icon to help adjust. The unit looks nice, and feels reasonable solid for plastic. I got a few audible creaks trying to use the velcro hand strap, so I'll probably just hold it in my hand. This is marketed for video bloggers. I bought it to use around a middle school for local content. Edit: I tried this camera in the field today. The video at 4K 60 FPS was not smooth, even though the class 10 SD card meets specs. I should have lowered it to 1080P. The audio was also waaaaaay too hot, even on the low setting. It was so hot that it was distorted and rejected my best attempts to bring it down in iMovie. Good thing I'd gotten the audio (outdoor speech) on my iPhone. I was able to sync it and ditch the terrible camera audio. Where did all the stellar reviews come from? Is my camera a lemon?     • Audio is abysmal with this China import
I planned to use this for actors I manage to record their remote auditions. No matter what you do, the sound recording is terrible. Playback sounds like the mic is recording under a saturated wet blanket. I returned this camera and got a full refund from Amazon.

    • Not worth it.
I needed this camera for my YouTube videos. Whenever I tried to make a video, Within 10 minutes of recording, it shuts down. This is not what I’m looking for. I need a camera that lets me blog for longer videos.
