High quality wood slats, solid build. Semi easy to assemble. This is why i gave 4 stars though: One it costs nothing to include little white plastic screw covers so you don't see the metal bolts on such a nice bed, and two the allen key is very poor quality and tiny, it stripped after the second long screw had to use my own. My hands were in pain when all said and done mainly because they didn't pre-drill the long screw holes enough so I was having to cut threads with a dinky tiny allen key on a 5 inch screw......Other than that it really is a nice bed and worth the cost overall. ... show more

Went together pretty easy. Manual-wise there are two step 5's and it should have you square up the bed before screwing the slats. Overall good quality and seems pretty sturdy. Only visual complaint is how the screw heads are all visible.

I bought this bed for my toddler and it is perfect! Low enough she can get in and out of it easily and sturdy enough to hold up to her climbing and jumping all over on it. This bed is basic, but beautiful. It was easy to assemble by one person, the color is a true gray with a slight sheen, wood is smooth, and sits perfect on a carpeted bedroom floor. It's a $300 bed so obviously there's going to be issues. Most of the screw holes weren't done all the way and for only being able to use a Allen wrench it was insanely more difficult than it needed to be, my hands hurt from the amount of force I had to use to get them all the way in. There's a piece that goes on the top of the headboard and the bottom and the center screw is not aligned to the hole at all. There's two bottom middle pieces that hold the bottom frame together and it cracked a good 4 inches while I was screwing in a piece (no im not hulk).
