After losing quite a bit of weight (and getting back to more of a muscular, athletic build), I’ve been on the hunt for athletic fit or ‘muscle’ shirts. This isn’t really the latter, but it’s a good choice for those with a slim or athletic build. I got the short sleeve, and the body is longer (making it good for taller guys) and the sleeves are shorter (making it good for guys with more muscular arms). However, it’s narrower through the body than most tees, but it’s not super slim, and it’s not right across the chest (and it’s not a particularly stretchy fabric, so sizing down probably wouldn’t work with the henley neck and placket). If you’re carrying a little extra weight, it’s not going to show every ounce of fat, but it’s not cut for guys that are carrying more weight. The shirt is a smooth mid weight cotton, and the seams and buttons are all well made (cheaper shirts can be a little rough here and there, but with an row of buttons, that would end up looking like garbage on this shirt). I would expect this to hold up well. I got the faded blue color (Sky Blue), and it’s very close to the picture. Very happy with the color and quality. So, good for a general athletic look, but not a ‘muscle’ shirt for guys who are looking for that type of fit. ... show more

This shirt does not have the distressed look it claims it does. It's definitely more of a smooth, faded look and not the relic-worn style as depicted. It is quite comfortable and airy though, and even though this doesn't have the look I wanted, the shirt itself is not poor quality.

The sizing is waaaay off. This medium is an absolute tent on me! I’m not kidding: I actually had a 10 year old stand up and can fit inside of it with me. It’s laughably off. The arms fit my thigh and I workout; it’s that bad.

    • Excellent fit and feel
I'm 65yrs old and have had the good fortune of being athletically fit all my life. Goes back before my service in the Corps but that's where I embraced the true concept of physical exercise and the benefits it provides. I'm only 5'6" at 168lbs now but my body has aged well, or so lm told. Used to were size medium up until the end of my Marine Corp days. They got too tight and I started wearing large. Liked the looser fit but not all shirts fit the same. These shirts are excellent. Comfortable material, not too long, snug fit at the chest and a little loose around the mid section. They look and fit so well I use the when stepping out in the evenings or just going about running errands. Get a lot of compliments on these shirts. My go to dress is boots, jeans and these shirts (I'm from Texas). If you're in decent shape these shirts will look really good on you. ... show more
