I’ve purchased 100% cotton, black crew-neck T-shirts from Hanes, Gildan, and Fruit of the Loom. (I’m going through a minimalist phase right now). Of the three, I like these the best. The others are thinner and softer, so my nipples are less visibly erect in these than the other two brands. After three washings, the necks are still as well-shaped as when they arrived. I am wearing these tucked in with slacks and sports jackets. I think they look great that way, for $5 or so per shirt, compared to $30-$45 designer shirts. The sleeve lengths are great, the shirts shrank the perfect amount for me (I’m between an XL and L, so order XLs and hope they’ll shrink), and are sturdy. The one thing I’d prefer is if they were labelless. They say in the description they are no label, but I’ve ordered a four-pack and a six-pack and they have labels. You can rip them off, but then I have sometimes discovered I’ve put them on backwards (back in the front), so now I’m leaving the labels on. Great value. ... show more

I’m a gal and I bought the medium. They are great. I look best in a round neck They are long but not too long…just perfect. The fabric is not too heavy and not too thin. No one wants to see your bra. I roll the sleeve up once. They are really flattering tucked in or slouched up a little when wearing them on the outside of your jeans. I haven’t washed them yet but I think I will run them in the dryer for 10 minutes then hang to dry the first time. But I will throw one in the dryer for a complete dry just to see how it does. ... show more
