The fabric on these tshirts are soft and they fit well. They aren't those heavy cotton stiffer fabric, but more malleable. I do find that they twist and the seams are twisted after washing. I have no idea how to straighten them again. It doesn't actually show while wearing the tshirts, but it drives me crazy as to why this happens. I do notice a little fading on the black color, but I'm unsure as to whether that might be due to my detergent. Great shirts. Very cheap price. I can't see the difference between these and the more expensive ones tbh. I'm 5ft 9in 195lbs. These shirts fit great. Not tight not too baggy. I haven't had them for that long but, I wash them after I wear them once. So far it has not shrinked or lost its color. I do hang dry it though. Also, the neck hasn't become stretched or anything. It's kept its form so far. It also hasn't needed to be ironed before wearing. They look fine after being hang dried. If you're looking for a good affordable t-shirt look no further. I've had to order multiple packs of these. They are the only t-shirts my husband will wear. They're soft, wash well, don't shrink, and the neck doesn't seem to fray from his beard rubbing against it like others I've gotten him. It's a nice selection of colors, too (black/light gray heather/pewter). He won't wear athletic/moisture wicking fabric ones - has to have cotton. If I remember correctly, the heathered ones are cotton/poly blend, but the solid colors are all cotton. They run true to size. He's 5'8" around 220 and broad shouldered. All I could say after trying on these tshirts was NICE! They are well assembled, soft, mid- weight and best of all they have a length that falls below my butt. This is not a crop top mascarading as standard t shirt.

Wow … totally surprised by this purchase. There is such a difference in shrinkage depending on whether the shirt is SOLID color or HEATHERED. I have only known GILDAN brand t-shirts that were 100% cotton. When I looked at description of material, I saw the first shirt listed was 100% cotton and didn’t think to look further. I did not realize that the colored t-shirt sets have different % cotton. Therefore when washed, some will shrink a full size easily and others will slightly shrink and others will shrink some but not enough to be considered a full size smaller depending on the % blend of polyester. SO BUYER BEWARE AND READ % cotton for each color! Who knew ?!? The 100% cotton ones are nice and durable while the blends tend to be lighter fabric. Thankfully, I don’t mind sleeping in t-shirts that are too large so I get to keep the ones that have not shrunk enough to fit my husband properly. We purchased L to account for shrinkage when dried on Medium or High heat. My husband wears M so the shirts with the poly blend are mine and he has the rest. It’s a shame the seller does NOT IDENTIFY the material discrepancy upfront—better yet, sell the t-shirts per material content and not mixed. GILDAN is a nice brand and the 100% cotton have always been a favorite so I tossed the shirts in the wash immediately when received. Not realizing the material differences when I washed them, I will now get to learn what the poly blends are like but I am guessing I will always prefer the 100% cotton. I would have given 5-stars if seller would have been up front with the varied material for the colored sets. Honestly, we are a bit disappointed to discover the material difference in the sets AFTER THE FACT. Hope this helps anyone wondering about why such mixed reviews for size and material. ... show more
