I had it for only two hours but IM RETURNING IT. THE METAL IS SHARP! Secondly the paint scrapes so easily when assembling mine arrived with it chipping already! Thirdly it comes manufactures incorrectly! I cannot even finish building it due to so many flaws it has. Save your money and buy a decent canopy please. ... show more

I love it! Is a good product! It was very easy to assemble, but I think it was a bit expensive. I read the reviews and was a bit worried because they said it was poor quality and weak, but the reality is that it has been installed in bed for 2 months and nothing has happened to it. To do the product justice, if you want to give a fairy tale look to your room you can buy it, but you don't have to hang on the tubes, because they could break, although this is known not for that. While this product didn't work it for me due to the fact that it is "flimsy" *compared* to the fact that it was going to be for a very hyperactive boy - I world recommend it for a teen or adult (or more gentle child than my little wild child) - and the instructing included were some of the clearest instructions (with labeled sections of poles) that I've ever encountered from an Amazon product. ... show more

It was easy to putt together but I had to put it together using 2 orders. The original and the replacement. Both sets had 1 part that was wrong. I ordered a queen but it isn't big enough to accommodate a queen bed, it was slightly too small. It's up but I will be finding a better one.

Wow! I'm so glad I gave this a try. I wasn't even sure if I'd like having a canopy bed, but now I can't imagine it any different, lol. This happened to work out perfect for me, because I could set it up within my bed frame (my frame is king size and mattress is california king size, so there is room on each side as you can see in the pics). It sits very sturdy, but you know, I don't have anyone swinging from it, so it's sturdy enough for my needs, haha! I am also in a basement bedroom, and was really glad the height was just perfect for fitting under the drop down part of my ceiling. As for assembling it, I did it alone, and it was easy enough for me to figure out. It took maybe 30 minutes? One thing, make sure to either use the gloves they provide, or be ready to just wash your hands well after handling the metal rods. After putting up a sheer canopy and some lights, it's like I've totally transformed my room. One friend who saw it even said it makes my bed look HUUUGE- she just never really noticed how big of a bed I had before, lol. In any case, I'm loving it, it was easy to put together, and I would recommend it. ... show more

    • Breaks at connectors
Based on other reviews, I taped the poles to the connectors so they wouldn't pop out, but then one of the connectors itself broke apart within a month. It's too difficult to super glue so I taped that together too. It is flimsy. Trip a little on the curtain and you'll break it. The connectors are painted like metal but they're actually cheap plastic, I have no idea why they thought they should save money that way. Makes it bend and warp instead of staying sturdy.
