I used this as a replacement in an MF-3000 melting furnace on 110/120V. I replaced the kaowool insulation with firebrick, since it’s a real pain to remove and repack the wool. This coil seemed like a drop-in replacement. I didn’t get a chance to measure the old coil before it blew: however, this one measured about 9 ohms cold and draws a pretty steady 13.5 amps.
