This is a really good idea and is made of decently strong slats. The big problem ISIS.It does not actually meet the listed dimensions.So it is as seen in the pictures too small for the frame of bed. After sleeping in on it one night it did increase the support slightly, However lost four straps throughout the night. They are not reinforced at all. Again it's a good idea just poorly executed. Returned through Amazon. Addition: Customer service was fantastic.The founder reached out to me period we discussed the sizing and how it was a mistake on my part.Double check the measurements of your bed. This fixed every issue I had with my sleeper couch. It took minutes to install, fits perfectly, stays in place when the couch is closed so no need to store it until the next use of the sleeper and made the sleeping experience even better than when the mattress was new! Well worth every penny!

The folding and tie down features are awesome. However, the support will not compensate fully for a bad mattress.

This was exactly what I was looking for. My sofa bed is older, and the mattress wasn't comfortable. I was able to get the foundation and a mattress for a good price. This foundation revived my sofa bed.
