We like how solid it is. Gives more support. Only downside is we can’t fold it up with the sofa. You have to put it in when you open the sofa bed and remove it before you put it away. It’s not a huge deal and I would buy it again, that’s why I still gave it 5 stars.

Some people were complaining this doesn’t cover the whole area. I’m questioning whether they bought the right sizes… see photo it covers the area that it should. Would recommend measuring your couch to make sure you know exactly what size you need. I assumed mine was a full and was surprised when it measured as a queen. I was worried the bed wouldn’t be able to be stored with the board left on it and I was going to have to store it under the couch or something. It folded up just fine left on the bed, so it’s stored all together. I only gave the board 4 stars though because you can still feel the bars through it. I even bought a brand new mattress. I purchased this board for a pullout couch with a cheap 4" mattress. I had already invested in a memory foam topper to put on top of the couch mattress but it didn't work very well. It needed to have the support of the board underneath. So I purchased the board and I am extremely satisfied. The pullout is now very comfortable. The board is also light weight enough to manage, while being very sturdy. I do recommend investing in a memory foam topper- its worth the extra $100 for a queen sofa. ... show more

Unfortunately the item came with a slash in the plastic covering. It’s heavy & sturdy making everyday use a pain. It did make sleeping in the sofa bed much better, I did not feel the bars. I only gave it a 3 stars because of the damage.

I bought the 36" wide version. Some people might not like this product because you have to take it out to fold up the bed, and it does make your mattress firm, but I LOVE it. The sleeper sofa was sagging too much to sleep on comfortably but slide this under the mattress and it's like a new bed. Probably not comfortable for someone tall (it's 48"). I read many reviews so we are very careful with this product as we were told it could break if you sat wrong. It does firm up our sofa couch but not like a real mattress. We were desperate because we need to use this couch on occasion. Not good for long term use, just go out and buy a bed. If you have to use it, you can make do.
