    • Great little PC
This is great little PC for setting up single 3D Printer and web cam. I had to send it back due to it wouldn't handle 2 1080p web cams hooked to it at the same time, ended up utilizing 100% on both processors not allowing me to stream 2 live video feeds. Besides that, it's a wonderful little unit. I did have to go through different drives on built-in Wifi. I have a 320Mbit internet speed, and when I first did a speed test across the network, I was only getting 25Mbit speed, so there was 4 drives on the computer available to use for this, I ended up using a Windows Intel Driver and once I switched it, I had my 320Mbit speed. You would think that for the WiFi 6, that it would have already had that driver as default, but they didn't. Anyway sent it back clean booted. Used it for a few hours while connecting 3D Printers and first camera, everything was working excellent until I went and plugged the 2nd USB web cam in and that stream was enough to freeze up anything you wanted to do. So now I'm going to try the quad core PC like this to see if that will work.... ... show more

This mini pc is of great value, specially for someone who would like to use their tv or monitor and turn it into a computer. First impressions was how easy it was to set up. Just plug and play spend a few minutes with initial set up then add your favorite applications. I tested this with various streaming services such as Netflix, Disney plus and YouTube and they all worked flawlessly. I also tested with my camera security system and I had no glitches. I used both plug in and bluetooth mouse and keyboard and they both worked great. I would suggest to use bluetooth to avoid clutter and have more mobility, it just depends on your set up. This works great if you use it with a projector, you have mobility as well and the option of adding additional storage up to 1TB if you might need it. Although it says that it can multi-task, I would keep it to a minimum, I did notice a little bit of lagging when using three application at the same time. I also like that it comes with both ethernet and wireless connectivity both 4g/5g dual band are compatible. As I said before this little device is very impressive consideringit's s size, I am very satisfied with this product overall. ... show more

    • Works OK but won't connect to my Nikon D5500
works fine on most programs but I purchased this to run an astrophotography rig. Nikon Camera Control Pro and and a 3rd party camera control program will not connect to my Nikon D5500. Both programs work on 2 other computers so not the camera or cabling. I tried to contact the seller through the link provided but it returns "Server not responding". Amazon is trying to help but for now "Buyer Beware". Update: Seller has contacted me but so far after a week of back and forth messages the problem has not been fixed. Support must be in Asia since responses always arrive late in the evening so there's a12 hr lag between each message/response. I'll update this again review if the seller is able to fix the issue. ... show more

    • Power Button Stuck after 3 months [was: Small and Not Quite Mighty]

UPDATE: 04.20.23: The power button is stuck in the depressed position and will not turn the computer on and will not pop out. At this point it is a brick. It worked okay for the purpose I was using it for since I purchased it in January but now this. I submitted a ticket on the Mele website and emailed. We'll see what gets attention. If you purchase one, I recommend you setup Auto Power On in the BIOS. Instructions for doing so are on the Mele FAQ. I know I will be doing so if Mele tells me the trick to making the button work or how to force it to start w/o the button. Or replaces the unit. The power button seems to be a weak point. ****************************************************************** Small and portable. I got this to power a 2nd Zoom client for hybrid meetings and it is great for that. But I wouldn't use it as a primary computer. When I have to hook it up and do Zoom and / or Windows updates, it feels sluggish compared to my laptop or to the MeLE Fanless Quieter2Q Mini PC I bought a little while ago, which we DO use as a primary computer for work, web, etc. (nothing graphics or processor intensive). Anyway, this one is sufficient for the special purpose I use it for, no complaints. But wouldn't want to use it as an actual personal computer. Of course everything is relative. It is lightyears faster and has oodles more storage and memory than the old 8088 Epson that was my first computer a few decades ago! ... show more

Bought the first one out of curiosity, bought the next 2 because they are that good. I use one in the shop and the small size makes it easy to hide so if someone breaks in they can't find the computer. The next one I bought for work and is used behind a 70 TV in the conference room with a wireless keyboard. Perfect for presentations. The last one was bought for a completely portable IT station.     • Just What I was Looking For

I occasionally need a Windows machine to run some windows only software, and rather than running a virtual machine, I thought I'd break down and buy an actual Windows machine. I wasn't expecting this to be a super powerful game machine or server and it isn't. It's just a nice little desktop Windows machine. Small, portable, with reasonable performance and enough memory and sold state disk to make it useful. As an example, this PC works well with Zoom, but don't expect anything more than the basic background, or filters. It just lacks the processing power for the fancier effects. This model shipped with Windows 10 Pro, and per the manufactures recommendation, I allowed it to self-update to Windows 11 Pro. All of the questions I had and the information I needed were addressed on the manufactures website. I'm happy with this purchase, it is just what I wanted. ... show more
