Explosive sound !!! It’s a great cymbal to play a groove on or use as accents. It’s thinner than the china cymbal but thicker than the regular crashes Update 10/9/20: The cymbal cracked from one hole to another (not from the edge) I’m an experienced drummer and play these cymbals with my band only. We rehearse (not even) 1 time a week for 2 hours, so after 10 band sessions a cymbal shouldn’t break. Pretty disappointed because I loved the tone of this cymbal. I’ll see if they honor the 2 year warranty it says it comes with Update: 12/2020 Meinl replaced the cymbal and it’s been great. Definitely my favorite cymbal in my setup.
