It feels just right. This sectional couch was super easy to assemble. It also looks great and I think it's very comfortable.I can lay down and sit in multiple positions very comfortably. You can lay right across the top and stretch out with no wood planks in your hip or rib. Also, for reference, I'm 5'5" and I can fully lay across it and only take up 3 cushions. Also, I'm 190 lbs and this thing feels plenty able to support my weight. It arrived in 3 boxes over three days--so those of you saying you didn't receive the whole thing...you just need to wait a couple days, no big deal. Assembly was very easy. The instructions were very straight forward and no items were missing. The cushions def need a day to fluff up but they are pretty decent comfort wise. Firm enough that you don’t sink in to where you can’t get out but soft enough to get comfy. I am so happy with this purchase! This was incredibly easy to assemble and took about 60 minutes. The upholstery is soft, and the cushions are nicely padded. It appears to be easy to clean. Easy to put together! This came in 3 packages. You won’t even need the instructions. It’s very straight forward. For less than $600, including shipping, I feel it is a great buy. It really doesn't feel cheaply made. And, customer service was admirable, as well. Overall my expectations are exceeded!
