My biggest concern with this was, given that you need to hold it, if the relief it gave to some areas would be negated by holding a big, heavy contraption. Luckily, that's not the case - at least, it's not as bad as it could be. This is more lightweight than expected, while still providing a powerful massage. It has a fair variety of massage tips and they stay in snuggly when in use. That said, while this is a nice massager for a reasonable price (28 dollars at time of review), it's also one of the Made in China imports that several "companies" are selling - so if you happen to stumble across one that looks the same for a better price, there's a fair chance it's exactly the same...so shop around a bit! ... show more

I have a really bad back with rods in it. When I exercise, it strengthens my core because I don't want any more surgery. It really helps with the pain and loosens the muscles in my back and neck area. It comes with five attachments that are easy to use. They are made of plastic and there are two that work well for me. I also use it right before bed to relax my muscles so I don't have to take medication. It has a long handle and a wide head, so I can reach all the way down my back with one arm or go around my torso. I also use it on my legs. The machine has multiple settings, including an on/off button, slow speed, and higher speeds. There is also a button for intermittent vibrations. This machine can provide relief for various needs and it definitely works. I've noticed that I don't need to take as much pain medication since using it. I did not receive a bag with mine, although some people have said they did. It is about one meter long and I found a bag in my house that can hold it instead of carrying around the box. I would say it was worth the money and the first time I used it, I could already feel a difference. I call it my "best friend"! ... show more

I've been through a LOT of handheld massagers through the years and I DO recall most were pretty heavy and back then, corded. I wanted a cordless one but figured there wouldn't be much in the way of power. I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! This baby has more than enough power and it's power-adjustable at that! It also comes with some nice assortment of screw-on attachments for finding the perfect size or type to address your particular area of pain or tightness. Add to that, a variety of vibration "modes" and it's a winner! It did come with some charge already in it so I was able to test it out immediately. There's a nice little instruction folder as well. NOTE: This does NOT come with an AC plug-in power source adaptor for charging. However, AC to 5v adaptors are readily available OR just use your phone or laptop's AC to 5v charging plug and plug the "supplied" USB cord into that. Or for that matter, an empty USB slot on your computer. It only needs 5v to charge! While charging, a red light will blink. When fully charged, the light stops blinking. Having an EASY TO GRAB CORDLESS massager is great. Just turn it on and get to work...cord-FREE! I also like the longer length to get to those hard to reach areas or merely so as not to have to bend over as much. I wouldn't say it's heavy compared to the old plug-in versions I used to have. I have arthritis, sciatica, and even worse, all of my stress settles in my shoulders. Over the years, I have tried numerous items to try to get the knots out of my shoulders and nothing worked without assistance. Until now. This MEGAWISE Cordless Back Massager is both a game changer and a life saver for me. It's powerful, but not so much that you can't keep a good grip on the massager while using it. The shape is perfect to get to the areas of the back I most needed and the multiple attachments give much variety. There's one attachment it perfection for the shoulder blade area. Start on the low setting and build your way up from there. This thing is powerful even on the low setting, but to get tough knots, I needed it cranked up a bit and changed the mode. For under $30, you really can't go wrong here. It's rechargeable, very versatile, and it got the knots out of my shoulders which usually takes deep tissue massage or a massage gun being used by someone else. I do enjoy using this but only on the higher settings. Once I get to the lower settings it just feels like I'm getting bapped with a knuckle, not really for me. On the other hand, the higher settings, just holding it on a super stiff muscle is godly. It is rather heavy, so trying to really get my back has to be in sessions.
