We are very happy with how it looks. It matches our honey oak other furniture well. Putting it together wasn't bad, it would be easier with two people but I did it fine by myself. It was sturdy enough for two 130lb adults. The foam mattress is OK Better than an air bed but below a high-quality spring mattress. It was comfortable enough with an egg crate to smooth out the three foam pads. The assembly instructions are 95% accurate but have some dowelS shown in the incorrect holes. We needed extra sleeping space for company, but the only area we had was in the home office. Not only is a room small, but we didn’t want to have a full size bed in there all the time. We like the idea of a Murphy bed, but with our pitch ceiling that would not have worked. We’d never heard of cabinet beds until we came across them during a Google search. This is such a great bed well worth the price so far. It’s very sturdy and easy for 1 person to both set up and put away. We love the modern color (Galaxy Gray) and wood grain. The 2 USB ports and 2 plugs on the side of the unit are very convenient. I store pillows and a comforter in the drawer, but for ease I leave the mattress protector and sheets on the mattress when it’s folded up. We have been told by guests that the bed is quite comfortable. Know that the front panel is quite heavy. Half of the top flips up (which we don’t have room to do because of the pitched ceiling, but when you can there’s a lot more headroom). While it helps hold the front panel closed, be sure to use the clips that you install inside the cabinet that secure to it when putting it away. My husband didn’t attach them once, so when I flipped the top open the heavy panel unexpectedly fell forward onto me. I do wish the storage drawer was accessible when the bed was out and that it didn’t need to stay pulled out until the front panel is secured into place when closing the bed up (more of an issue when only 1 person is doing it). But these are really insignificant dislikes when looking at the whole product. Great piece of furniture for anyone needing a bed for tight quarters who can’t fit a traditional Murphy bed in their space. ... show more

The item shipped faster than expected, was well packaged against the elements and possible damage. Customer service was exceptional, immediately calling to thank us for the order and explain how the item would be packaged and sent. It does take about 1-2 hours to put together, that is mainly due to placing the correct screws in the right locations. Once that is done, the item easily is put together. It is easy to pull out into a bed and back into the cabinet, one person can do it. Solid wood, beautiful color. The delivery took a bit longer than expected but it arrived in great condition. The company packaged it very well and honestly I think even if it did have a rough delivery I would have never known. You definitely need 2 people to bring it inside the house and just build it in the room it’s going to be in because it’s pretty heavy once built. Directions are very clear and I had no trouble putting it together on my own with the exception of one or two steps which needs 2 people. The end result is it was worth the purchase. It fits nicely in my spare room without taking up much space. Definitely a good solution if you want to use the room for something other than a bedroom. Absolutely love this Murphy bed in a cabinet! Well made. Sturdy. It looks exactly as pictured. Actually, I think it's prettier. My handyman assembled it within 2 hours. He said the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The only issue was with the delivery company. The bed was delivered a day earlier than expected. We discovered it at our garage door when getting ready to exit in our auto to go to an appointment. BLOCKED CAR! No knock at the door or telephone call to say they were at the house to make the delivery. There is a crack on the top but working with Jason (he's great) at company about that. Very pleased so far with the purchase. An added plus is the bed height when it's let out. It doesn't give the feel of sleeping almost on the floor. ... show more

We absolutely love our Murphy bed. It was shipped quickly and was packaged very well in 4 boxes. Each part was labeled and the hardware was all packaged separately and well marked so there was no guessing which screw or hinge or handle to use in each step of the directions. For the most part the directions were easy to follow. It did take two people several hours to put this together. I ordered the cabinet in blond and am very pleased with the color. It comes delivered in 4 boxes, 3 which are pretty heavy. Took my husband and I about 3 hours to assemble it. Not hard if you follow all of the instructions. The mattress is a tri-fold so it can be stored in the cabinet. I did purchase a quilted mattress pad for additional padding and to disguise the fold lines which works great. Bed and mattress are very comfortable. Definitely recommend this product! ... show more
