This Pokémon set is a smaller build but the creatures are sweet. The pieces fit together tightly and are difficult to take apart. This really only creates a problem if the child wants to take it apart and rebuild it or if there was a mistake made. Even I had a difficult time helping my grandson take some price apart because they were so tightly fit together. That being said the creatures are fairly tough and play quality since they are well attached. The ears, legs and tails have joints which make them fun to move. My kids have been collecting the Pokémon mega constructx for several years, so we were excited to see this new one come out. It’s great, well-made, cheaper than the traditional namebrand building toys that everybody knows but still great quality and just as much fun! This particular set is quite small, it only has 122 bricks so my kids can put it together in 15 minutes, they prefer the ones with more pieces but this one is fun too. My 7 year old Is not really a building kit kid, but he is a Pokémon fan. I thought this would be a fun activity for him. He was not super interested. It took him, with help from Dad, about half an hour to put Espeon together. They are cute, larger than I thought they would be. This is a great little gift for the pokemon lover in your life. It is easy enough to assemble that your child will be able to do so themself, just keep an eye on them with the small pieces. I'm excited to have my nephew check it out, he loves Pokemon & it should be a good little bonding experience. There are a lot of small pieces, so I suggest having a bag or something to put them into when you're done as they could easily get lost.
