I am blown away at the quality of this product. This was my first time using a gel nail manicure on myself and I did quite a bit of research before purchasing on how to apply the correct way and the dos and donts. I’d say my nails turned out very good for a newbie. Honestly, they were giving me salon vibes because it looks 10x better than just your average nail polish. For this look I did a thin layer of base cured for 30s, builder(my nails are really thin so I wanted to add thickness) cured for 30s, thin layer of color( I used the red 0687 & honey she gives 💋) cured for 60s, thin layer of color for a second coat cured for 30s, and then the clear top coat and cured for 30s but it needed a bit more so I hit the 30s again and it was perfect! I will say that I was so nervous about this because of the mixed reviews but mine came flawless works amazing and I’m a super happy woman right now best thing I’ve gotten myself in awhile! ****** ladies this lamp is HOT so I did hold it above my hand about three inches because I noticed that it was tingling on my middle and left ring finger and I didn’t want to burn my skin or ruin my nails so if you find that your skin is a bit more sensitive just lift the machine up a bit and pull some of that heat away from you ;) your welcome. Also, wanted to mention that all of the products this kit comes with look great quality especially the nail files!! Very easy to use with instructions they send with it. Smell is nasty so must have a vent near by. Color is clear on base and top. Definitely chip resistant which I love. Just an fyi if you're doing your nails and want to use a wrap instead for design and color make sure to not use the base under the wrap design as it will just slide off and not stick, it's best to stick to nails then use the top coat ... show more

I got this kit as an early birthday present last year, and it is still goin' strong. I LOVE this kit, and I think you will, too! It is amazing quality for the price, and has EVERYTHING you would possibly need to do a manicure. A lot of reviews say the bottles are too tiny, and won't last very long, but I completely disagree. I have had this kit for more than a year now, and I still have so many polish colors left. The bottles are smaller than imagined, but there are so so so so many of them that you won't have a problem with not enough polish. Unless you do a manicure every week, then of course you will run out faster. As much as I love this kit, I do have to let y'all know about a couple things. When I first got the kit, I was soooooooo excited, and I did my nails right away. But the only problem was that it was taking soooooooo long! The light just wasn't curing it fast enough. So I got a new light on Temu for about $30, and it works super well. Definitley better than the one that came with the kit. So that's one downside. But then a couple months after getting that light, I realized the reason that gel doesn't always feel like it's fully cured, is because there is always going to be a tacky layer, so it helps to rub it with an alcohol wipe or acetone between each layer, and that will ensure that the polish will stay on for longer. Another thing is that the top and base coat ran out pretty quick, so I had to get a new one from amazon. But that wasn't a big deal. Overall, I think this kit was SOOOOOOOOO worthit and I would totally buy it again, but I wouldn't have a reason to, lol. Not sure if I love this or hate it. I love the. Colors. I like all the gems and fun things that come with it. What I don’t like is the light. It doesn’t work well at all. I had to keep going back like 5X to get the polish to be somewhat dry. I also hate the matte. I was excited for the matte polish but it just doesn’t work and makes your polish look horrible. ... show more

I purchased this set because I wanted to be able to do my nails at home. This kit came with the lamp and a wide variety of colors I can wear all year long. It was really easy to use and lasts a long time. My finger nails lasted 14 days and my toenails are still doing great. Above is a picture of day 17 of my toenails. Haven't actually used any yet but compared to another set I just bought of another brand, this polish is much thicker (not thin and watery) and the colors look the same as the picture shows.
