I have never done my own nails before. Got tired of the hours and $$ spent at the salon for acrylics so decided to take them off and start doing my own for a change. First off, the polish bottles are tiny. That surprised me. My first kit had a broken nail polish and missing a top coat polish. They replaced with a new kit very quickly though (maybe 2 days later) and everything's was there. The polishes are beautiful colors and dries under the light quickly. Make sure to do a few coats of polish and top coat if you want a thicker, longer lasting polish. I do have some minor chipping because I didn't do that my first go round. Did my 6 yo nails too it was so quick and easy. She loved all the Diamonds, glitter and butterflies we could add. So far, I feel it's a good value for what you're paying and especially for a newbie just learning. ... show more

This is one of the best quality gel polishes that I’ve come across. The bottles are small and I wish they sold colors separately but they are vibrant most only need 1 or 2 coats for coverage. Honestly. That’s it. What I’ve found from doing my own nails is the thinner the coats, the longer it stays. And thin coats of this polish last for SO long. They are perfect if you make sure that the nail and base coat are very even and smooth. I love switching up colors weekly when I start to see alittle growth and the small bottles allow me to try tons of different colors. They also make for easy storage. Thrown in the box and mixed all up, not a shipping issue but a distribution issue, was a total mess once I opened the box, looked used and horrible.. of course not enough time now to make the trip to its destination as a gift..not for Xmas but for bday. Update: 12/14/24 After leaving my review the manufacturer reached out to me wanting to help fix the issues I had, and of course it was to late but they did make things right and for that I moved them to a 4 star, customer service was pretty darn good.. ... show more

I LOVE to get my nails done, but we had to cut down on expenses, so I resorted to what I THOUGHT would be better than generic nail polish. Unfortunately, it chips just as bad as regular polish. It is more durable than regular polish, but within two days the polish was chipped. (Better than day one with regular polish I suppose) I may just need more practice with it?
