I’ve been looking for a wheelchair for my mom and found this one with great reviews. I’ve had the wheelchair for over a month now and absolutely love it. It is lightweight and easy the get in and out of the car and easy to maneuver. It’s simple to use and isn’t bulky at all. I like that the handles collapse making it more compact and easy to transport, and setting it up takes only seconds as well as vice versa. I woke recommend this wheelchair. It fits in a mini-suv easily. I would imagine it wouldn’t fit in a compact car but may be much easier in an intermediate vehicle. I’ve used it on concrete as well as crazy areas, and it works for well on both surfaces. Going over bumps, I t’s best to go backwards, as it’s easier and safer. The product was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. After unboxing, assembly was very easy and intuitive. Seat is very comfortable and overall, it is light enough to be lifted into the trunk of a vehicle without too much effort. Tires are excellent and make for smooth movement, even over bumps. Im 5’10, 145lbs and the sole caregiver of my mom. Im also a Registered Nurse and very familiar with medical grade equipment. As my mom‘s disease progresses, I knew that we would need a personal wheelchair. It was going to cost a fortune to rent one and up until now purchasing one was out of the question. Not only is this wheelchair extremely affordable, it’s the most compact and lightweight device you could imagine. I can fold it up and lift it with one hand. I could probably throw it if I tried!! I have zero cons to review with you, and SO MANY pros!!! It took less than 10 minutes to setup out of the box and shipping took less than 2 days. Hand brakes, and locking mechanism make it super easy for the operator. The foot rests are well-made with tension lifts, yet easy enough for the rider to push up with their foot. The chair folds up so thin it can easily fit behind a door or in a closet. Portability is similar to a childs compact stroller. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the product.     • Need bigger hands to use the brakes

Nice transport chair with a sturdy frame and bigger wheels for a smooth ride. Folding is quick and it is not that heavy to toss into the back of the SUV. Our last chair, all the wheels were the same size and felt flimsy compared to this new chair. When you measure for the chair, realize that the handles are the widest point. This adds to the comfort of the chair not digging into the rider's back but also means your knuckles might feel the wall/door frame 1st. The adjustable foot rests are awesome and easy to pick the size. Could be better comments: The brake handles are a bit over sized though. If you buy medium gloves, you might find your hands strain to be on the handles and your fingers be in the brake levers. Compare to the brake handles in the pictures for Medline's wheel chair or walking assist strollers, those handles look more like brakes you find on a bike that will fit more sizes of hands. There is also a "drag" feel in the wheels when pushing it. When we turn it over and spin the wheels, 2 spin freely and 2 only make a few rotations before stopping on their own. The wheels also aren't true and when you spin them you can see a slight wobble as they move around. We do feel a slight pull to the left which is easy to compensate for. Also finding that the wheels don't always stay on the ground when going over uneven surfaces. Few times one of the front wheels looses contact with the ground and spins bumping into the person's foot. (like a shopping cart wheel might spin) Might try adjusting the middle pivot bars. Other transport chairs we have don't have this problem over the same surfaces. Around the house we keep the foot rests off but use them when going out. The rest is just a flat surface so it depends on your shoe grip to keep your feet in place. Other chairs have a strap or notch for your heel to rest on so you can relax and not have to keep your feet there. Not a deal breaker for the chair!! Very compact and easily fits in back seat or trunk of car as the handles collapse and the foot rests swing out if the way. The seat also easily collapses. The device comes put together except for the foot rests that easily snap into place. The chair is a little over 20 lbs, so I find it easy to move on steps or put in the car. It also has straps that simplify carrying. It even has a seat belt. I'm 76 so the chair will most likely outlast me, but G-d willing when I am 90 and need a new one I would buy it again. ... show more

Easy to transport but not the easiest to stop. You must hold the brakes to keep it stopped. It is fairly lightweight. You definitely need a pad or cushion because there is no padding on the seat. For the price it is good. The foot rests are easy to maneuver once you figure them out and the legs are easy to remove and turn. The only caution is if the person riding needs assistance in and out of the wheelchair, be careful because the brake is only functional when you squeeze it. ... show more
