I bought this purifier for my peacock’s coop, mostly in the winter when the windows are closed. The dust in the shavings gets stirred up when their huge wings fly up on perches. Dust is dangerous for a peacock’s respiratory system. Once a week I use my shop vac reversed to blow out the filter. It works great based on the dust that comes out of the filter. Recently I dropped the purifier and it totally broke. I just ordered this exact same one again, I am so pleased with it’s performance. Keeping my peacock’s healthy saves on vet bills. Knowing it was very much on the cheap end of air purifiers I didn’t have super high hopes but I just didn’t have it in my budget to invest in a more expensive one. But it has worked amazing and you don’t smell any orders coming off the litter box! I don’t know that a more expensive one could do any better since it is so odor free! ... show more

So glad I bought this! I have only had them(I got the 2 pack) for a week or so but so far they are great. I got them because my neighbors smoke (I live in an apartment) and the smell gets pretty bad when my AC comes on. This has happened a few times since getting these and I just set it to 3 and the smell is totally taken care of. I also have pretty bad allergies (and a cat that I’m allergic to🤗) and I feel like these have helped a bit. My only problem is that the third fan setting(the fastest) is a bit loud—about the same as a desktop fan. However, I have had good results keeping them on 1 or 2 and the sound level on all other settings is very quiet and reasonable. Overall, these are very effective, have reasonable noise level(though a bit loud on the 3rd setting), not too big, and simple to operate. ... show more

I purchased these two units back in July 2020. In August 2021 one of my units started to make a loud noise that I couldn't seem to fix on my own. It was the motor and even on the quiet/sleep setting it was making noise. Thankfully, even though I placed the order on Amazon, I did go to the Medify website and filled out the warranty information. I just hung up the phone with Elmer in customer service and we are in the process of having my unit replace. She emailed me a shipping label and I will ship it (I have to provide the box and packing material and I have plenty of that here at home), but the cost to ship it back is free to me. My unit is being replaced free of charge. Additionally, she informed me that Medify has a filter club via their website and I just joined. I will have my filters shipped to me every 4 months ensuring that I will stay on top of keeping the filters replaced. They are running a special right now so I was able to order 2 filters for $33.75 for my first shipment. Register your units on the Medify Air website. The media could not be loaded. This product is super simple to use and is relatively quiet unless your on the highest setting. We live in Oregon where we get some of the highest pollen counts in the nation from time to time and unfortunately I have really bad hay fever (I can just touch grass and I start breaking out in hives!) This means my wife looses sleep when my runny nose gets the best of us. She already wasn't getting much sleep because we have a newborn and we recently discovered he has similar allergies and sneezes quite a bit too. After putting this unit in our bedroom on medium for about a half hour we both weren't sneezing at all! We've been using this on days when there seems to be lots of pollen in the air and we've been sleeping great! The light is pretty nice, but where we've put our unit is right at eye level so it is really nice to be able to turn it off. The air filter is easy to access for replacement but we haven't had to do that yet, and looking at it I think there is a long way to go (we've probably been using it every night for about a month now and we have a German Shedder dog that leaves hair and dry skin all over the house). I really like this product and would love to get a larger unit for our living room in the future! Hopefully in the video you can get a sense for how loud / quiet the unit is :) ... show more

I purchased the Medify MA-14 for my bedroom. I also have a M-40 for my living/kitchen/dining rooms combined. I was so impressed with the MA-40 that I replaced another purifier in my bedroom with the MA-14. These purifiers are fantastic. I have respiratory issues and I cannot believe how little dust accumulates in my home now. Cooking odors and smoke are cleared as well as any other pollutants. You will not be disappointed. I gave the noise factor a 4-star only because when on medium and high circulation is it a bit loud in the smaller space. But they also blow out cool air so that is a plus in the summer!! ... show more
