  • Wish I found this pump sooner!
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
I wish I found this pump sooner, I truly believe it would have helped my breastfeeding journey so much!! I am 7 weeks PP with my first baby and had to start pumping almost from the beginning because she wasn’t transferring milk well. My supply has been very up and down and I’ve stressed a lot because of it. This pump is so much more comfortable than my spectra and empties me better in shorter time and seems to be helping my supply. I have only gotten an ounce out of my “slacker” a handful of times since I began pumping for my baby. Since using this pump I have gotten AT LEAST an ounce every time, and this morning I actually got 2 ounces from my slacker, and NINE from my other side, for a total of 11 ounces in one pumping session. Not to say that happens every time, but I’ve never gotten that much with my spectra. I do not love pumping, but I love this pump! ... show more

  • Close enough to the Symphony hospital pump
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
Highly recommend for Mom‘s who want to connect with other Medela pumping parts Especially If you started with Symphony Hospital Pumping parts and want to connect with Sonata, this pump is the way to go!! The original Sonata connector nuzzle has eight parts to wash which is so painful, but you get the momcozy tube and it’s inserts fit universally with Medela connectors. A must buy! The milk production is the same as the Symphony hospital pump. I’ll say if you are used to the hospital pump, this pump might feel 95% similar but the comfort level is still better the Symphony. For the overall performance, size, mobility and weight, Sonata is a win. ... show more

  • Great purchase
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
This was a great purchase for the price and the amount of stuff you get which it all came in handy! The bag was great for transporting, the small cooler pack with the ice pack and bottles were great as well. Ended up buying more bottles but overall great purchase and I used everything! Would highly recommit you are looking for a reliable pump for a good price with some extra bonus items! ... show more

  • Power of hospital grade with out the price
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
Yes, this pump is more expensive than most but in my opinion it’s highly worth it. I used pump in style with my first son but wanted something with a little more power to see if I could get a bigger supply by fully emptying at each pump. I believe this pump does that. The parts are easy to clean, the battery life last at least 4- 20min sessions, I’m getting twice as much milk as I was with my pump in style. This option comes with a cute carrying bag and a bag for milk with frozen ice pack. Everything you need as a pumping mom. ... show more

  • I love this pump
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
I love this pump. This is the second breast pump I bought cause the first one wasn’t strong enough for me. it was the hands free horture or something like that. Was $98 so I bought it. After I used the hospital one I really I wanted one closer to the hospital grade. The symphony is 2000$ and I couldn’t afford it so I chose the next best option ... show more

  • Three months of use! And it was done
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
I am going to start by saying the first three months was a great pump it did what it was supposed to. It gave up on me with weird sounds and shaking just after three months. I contacted first Amazon they said that they will send me a replacement and then give me instructions on how to return the defective machine. The replacement never arrive but I knew something like that was going to happen because I never got a shipment notification. The seller took hours to get to me. Until today they decided to tell me to contact Medela and I couldn’t return the device. Ha! So if I would’ve listened today I would have my baby hungry still it would’ve been day two! (I supply enough so I pump and feed) I knew I had to go buy another pump. So they took a day to day call Medela and they will replace it. So how many days would’ve actually had taken to get this URGENT MATTER to be taken care of. Do your self a favor and don’t order. This is a very expensive pump to give up on just three months of use and have a very poor customer service on your side. Just FYI I pump every two to three hrs. ... show more

  • Glitchy from day one, but still the best pump.
Style: Sonata with new Flex Breast Shields
First of all, this thing has glitches. They might even start from the first time you use it. Why am I still giving it 5 stars? So far, glitches are all they are, and they're manageable. The comfort of the breast shields on this pump is by far the best I've experienced, and the suction is on par with a hospital pump, even when it's not plugged in and running portable. I have a large chest, so the rims of pump shields will invariably cut into my breast tissue; these have a soft rim, so it's more comfy than others. The kit also comes with two sizes of flanges, the second being a smaller size instead of a bigger one (like a Spectra comes with), so that's a plus for me, since I need the smaller flange. The extras are nice, like the little bottle holder and the freezer pack - I've definitely used these. The pump is overall quite portable and I can generally pump at least twice without charging it, which I don't usually do, because of the glitches. Which I'll go into now. The glitches seem to be related to the power cord or the connection with the cord. You need to really watch when it's plugged in and make sure it's making a connection - you should see the little lightning bolt to indicate it's plugged in, and it should stay steadily lit. If it's not, you need to unplug it and replug it, mess with the cord position, whatever works. You will definitely see the thing come on with CALL on the display, indicating it's broken and you need to call customer service. If it's plugged in when that happens, unplug it, then turn it off. When you turn it back on, it should be fine again. If not, turn off again and back on again until it clears. It happens to me multiple times a day, from day one, but so far it hasn't been actually broken and I haven't had to really call. It definitely freaked me out the first time it happened, though. As long as the glitches stay mere annoyances, I'm very satisfied with this pump. It's as comfortable as pumping can get, portable, powerful even without being plugged in, and as effective as a Symphony. It takes a little patience sometimes, but it's overall very worth the price to me. (I paid for it, since I got a Spectra with my insurance, and this one wasn't offered.) ... show more
