There's definitely a reason why so many people purchase this handheld pump. It's awesome. I can get 5oz in such a short amount of time and my hand doesn't hurt. The fact that this is one of the only handheld pumps on the market that has an option for stimulation makes a world of difference. What held me back from getting this pump with my initial 2 pregnancies/breastfeeding journeys was the amount of pieces on this pump, it sucks to clean, especially the little white tab that gets lost and falls everywhere, but it comes with 2 extra ones and honestly it's so worth it. I was discharged from the hospital with a hospital grade rental pump, the Medela Symphony. It works better than the two other brands I have tried. This hand pump by Medela works just as well as the hospital grade pump. I tried it out on one side with the rental pump on the other and was able to get just as much milk while copying the cadence of the hospital pump. I have also tried at my own pace and was able to get a normal amount for me even faster than the electric pump. I will buy this again and again if needed. ... show more

I bought it for my 1st pregnancy in 2021 and don’t use it and now I’m using it (3 years later) with my 2nd pregnancy and for me Medela is the best brand for breast pumping and accessories. This is as one of my favorite breast pumps as a first time mom always on the go. I had the mom cozy cordless bread pumps and the Medela (insurance) pump and this one was by far the most useful! Let me start by saying I’m 8 months in. I plan to breastfeed until at least a year. My baby is 95% pumped breast milk and the other 5% is sleepy time feedings. I have a Spectra C and a hand free travel pump. Both work ok. I normally drag the spectra around because it yields more milk than my hands free which could also be painful sometimes. I got the jump because I am going to a concert and I will be away from home for more than 5 hours. I will be worried about my supply as I am already fighting a downward battle. I read the reviews about how well this pump work and thought I would give it a try. I will also be perfect to conceal in a small purse and pump during the concert! Well the pros… I got just as much milk (6 ounces) if not more compared to my Spectra in half the time! I was also very comfortable. The cons it did not empty my breast as well as I hoped. I was still able to hand express another 2 ounces when I felt like my milk stopped flowing. I do like the collector container for hand expressing since it has a wide opening and catches those rogue sprays! All that too say I wish I had this sooner. I can see my pulling journey being a lot easier/ less stressful if I did! I definitely recommend this! ... show more

This thing is a life saver! It has helped me from a dead pump, late night Gorge relief and even clogged ducts. This hand held is a must have. It is super easy to assemble, cleans easy and stores nice. Attached with most bottles! Having one of these on hand is a must have!

I just got this pump for my daughter and when she uses it it leaks around the bottle attachment. We made sure it was tight but nothing changed. Also the hand pump if your not care pops off and you have to stop pumping and reconnect it to the pump. So I guess overall it works well if you like to stop in the middle to fix it or wear your milk. ... show more
