works fairly well. must hold it vertically on wall, not horizontally. it slides easily and is fairly accurate and easy to use. i found studs on regular stud mode and deep mode. have not tested other features yet.

Unfortunately I didn’t get around to trying this until after the return window, because it is garbage. Apparently my walls have no studs, quite a surprise! I misplaced a really cheap stud finder and thought upgrading to a digital one would be an improvement. Don’t waste your money.
