  • delivered to the wrong house
Size: Large
The product is great but it was delivered to the wrong house. I was lucky that the picture showed that the product was at a friend's house and we were able to get it.

  • Compact and easy to use level with built-in ruler and magnetic strip
Size: Small
This level is a great size and very easy to use. I've used it for various projects around the house and it's been very helpful. The bubbles are easy to read and the ruler on the bottom is a great addition. The level is also magnetic which makes it easy to attach to metal surfaces. The only downside is that I think it's a little overpriced. ... show more

  • A Light Weight Level
Size: Large
My complaint is the thing is hollow. Very lightweight. If I dropped it I'm afraid it would bend. Otherwise seems accurate.

  • Knocked off a star

only because of the light weight. But levels ought not be abused, and the price point is good. A Stabilla may cost five or more times this and not be more accurate. I'd buy it again.

  • Not 24 inches long; inch measurements are off by 9/32”; metric are off by 7mm.
Size: Large
For the TLDR crew: It’s a lot shorter than 24 inches; the imperial measurements are all off by 9/32 of an inch, and it’s missing the standard differences in length of the 1/2” and 1/4” tick marks. Also, the metric side of the “ruler” begins three mm before “1” rather than at zero, so all absolute values are too high by seven mm. The long version: For me, the major selling point of this level was its advertised ability to serve as a 24-inch ruler. Unfortunately, the manufacturer grossly misrepresents the tool in that respect. Please see the four photos included with this review. (1) The tool’s entire length, including the black plastic endcaps (which do not contain measurement markings) is 23-7/16 inches. (If you squint at it just right, it might make 23-1/2 inches.) So the entire thing, including the parts that can’t be used for measuring, is less than the advertised 24 inches. The part with actual measurement markings is only 23-1/32 inches long. (2) Much worse, the first “inch” IS NOT A FULL INCH—not even close! The distance from the beginning of the tick marks to the one-inch mark is 23/32 of an inch! That’s 9/32” shorter than it should be. So the number 2 on this “ruler” doesn’t mean “2 inches from the end.” It means 1-23/32 inches from the end. The point at the other end of this “ruler” is labeled “23” when it’s actually 22 -23/32 inches from the beginning of the measurement markings. That missing 9/32” length at the beginning of the tool makes all the rest of the numbers complete fiction. I can appreciate imaginary numbers, but not on my measurement tools! (3) A similar problem occurs with the metric side of the “ruler.” Rather than starting with zero, as it should, it starts with the number 1, preceded by three mm. Thus, every absolute measurement (starting from the end) will be too long by 7 mm. At the other end, the marking that seems to mean 59 cm actually demarcates 52 cm. (4) It’s bad enough to short the consumer an inch off the advertised length. It’s inexcusable to do it in a way that virtually guarantees measurement errors on both the imperial and metric sides of the “ruler.” Someone who isn’t paying close attention or who, like me, has bad eyesight, could derail a project by expecting that this “ruler” would actually have a full inch (or a full cm) before the numeral 1—because that’s how rulers work. Rulers, yardsticks and tape measures start at ZERO because the starting point has to represent “none” of the quantity being measured. They can’t start with a numeral “1” at some arbitrary point from the end! Since the manufacturer is so woefully ignorant about the most basic of measurement concepts, I urge Amazon to take a close look at any other tools they offer. (5) Rounding out the inadequacy of this item for use as a measurement tool is the lack of longer tick marks at 1/2” and 1/4” markings. There are only two lengths of tick marks: short for 1/16” and a little longer for 1/8” intervals. The familiar super-long tick mark at the 1/2” point is absent, as are the usual, notable 1/4” markings. People who measure things frequently may have no difficulty just “knowing” where these intermediate markings are. But for the average person trying to hang shelves from a ladder, with bad lighting, sweat in their eyes and drywall dust everywhere, the lack of these additional measurement cues will make for a very frustrating experience. I hope that Amazon will remove this product from its website. Not only does it promise what it can’t deliver, but this deception may not be spotted immediately, and it could result in a lot of needless frustration and poorly-assembled projects. ... show more

  • Solid but not amazing

All in all its a solid level just a little overpriced I think. Expected it to be a tad bit sturdier.
