    • Works as advertised, but very difficult to fill with sand
The instructions suggest to fill the base with either sand or water. I chose sand because I didn't like the idea of having several gallons of water waiting to flood the floor of the house in the case of a crack or leak in the plastic base. There is a ~3/4" hole in the base to put the sand into, and there is an obstruction about 1" under the hole opening inside the base. This means it is very difficult and time consuming to put sand into the base! Especially if the sand is damp and sticks together (it's nearly impossible to find dry sand at stores in my area this time of year). I realized that if I tilted the base on its side, there are small channels in the base that run outward from the hole and then the sand would sort of flow down the channels to the outside of the base. This helped, but it still took a couple hours to get enough sand in to weight down the base. Otherwise, the unit seems pretty sturdy so far and works as advertised. ... show more

    • Works great, some design flaws
The important bit here is once assembled the product is really sturdy. If you go full force punches you may topple it, but for me the is speed and timing training so going at 25% to 50% zero issue. Two annoying design elements I wish they had done differently 1. They leave a space in the bottom of the base for the bag to fit into. I can only imagine this was to make shipping easier. End result, all that space you could have used to put more weight (sand or water) into that would have absolutely eliminated and chance of toppling it. Really silly. 2. I chose to fill with sand. Took me a solid hour and a half to do. The hole to fill is really small and runs down to two angled drops. I’d imagine if you had ‘egg timer’ fine sand it would be easier. I’d bought bags of play sand from Home Depot so literally had to fill a tiny bit at a time and keep pushing in by hand. Hard to describe but , just know that likely you will spend an hour and a half cursing....but one time thing. Again all related to that stupid shape they left in the base for the ball, otherwise would have been a super easy thing to fill. ... show more

This punching bag is the center of our home gym. Its sturdy and is freestanding. Its easy to assemble and is easy to disassemble if you need to take it down. Got this for my grandsons. I think they will have alot of fun with this. It was easy to put together and I can tell it's made from good quality materials. I like that its adjustable. because they grow fast. I like that it has suction cups on the bottom to help it stay in place. Plus you can put water or sand in it. The spring is strong and the punching bag in solid. there dad can use it to. This is a great set. Its very durable and sturdy. I'm very pleased with this. I would recommend it. This is not a heavy bag to practice heavy punching, but a bag for reflexes, mobility and agility. If you but this for punching hard you will be disappointed. But if you buy it for its purpose you will be satisfied.

Arrived in damaged box, and no punching gloves were included (though pictured) It still gets the job done it's just not as good of a quality as the previous one I ordered

    • Do not hit it like a heavy bag people!
The media could not be loaded. Side note: I had spinal surgery in August of 2020 so I'm at 75% power and mobility... This reflex bag is perfect to get your punching timings right and its great for slipping in/out to counter and work on your foot work or even throwing combos. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR HEAVY PUNCHING, THATS NOT THE POINT OF THIS BAG. If you want a bag that can take heavies then get a PEXMOR standing heavy bag. ... show more
