The media could not be loaded. I liked that this repair kit material is thick and tough. I used it on an inflatable punching bag for kids, the kind that is in a shape of a person. Unfortunately, it had a hole on a seam, leaving an uneven surface, that would create a tunnel for air to escape no matter how much patch material I used. I ordered this product to patch an inflatable tube sled I bought for my kids. It was easy to use, stuck well to the vinyl and seems to hold well. You get quite a bit of patch material so I have a lot left over in case I need to patch more areas.

I am not going to use this material up to perform a test, so am basically trusting that this material will perform as promised. This is a pack of 2 boxes, each box containing 2 strips of material 3"x13", an alcohol wipe, a piece of heavy gauge monafilament line to reinforce edge repairs, and an instruction sheet. The material is folded in a oval as permitted by the box, and this does introduce a set into the material which would likely become more of a problem with storage. I took the 2 sheets together and rolled them into a cylinder, so as to keep those sheets free of creases. This allowed me to get the contents of 2 boxes into one box, which I will then seal up in a good ziplock bag, to hopefully keep the product fresh and ready for use. The material seems properly not too thick and not too thin, in light of the intended purpose. I have received both product labeled "vinyl repair" and "inflatable repair" and see no obvious difference in any aspect of the kits, from material feel, to instructions, and products listed as suitable for repair. The material claims a full strength bond after 24 hours, that can be accelerated by exposure to heat from a heat gun. I think for the cost this is a good thing to have on hand for inflatable and tear emergencies in situations like camping, backpacking, RV life, or just dealing with a puncture in the kiddie pool. Got this to use on an outdoor 12ft Halloween Inflatable that's white so I'm hoping it holds up! I haven't tested it out yet because we went straight from Halloween to Thanksgiving Turkey Inflatables to Christmas Decor! ;-) I will update to let everyone know how well it holds up when I can test it out. The media could not be loaded. I found the leak by spraying soapy water on the blowup mattress. Once I found the leak I cleaned it and let it dry. I cut the repair kit into the appropriate size and put it on the leak. No more leak! I don’t mind that it’s glossy on this blowup mattress but it may look awkward and other situations. Used this patch to repair a large rip in my vinyl boat seats. The tear just kept spreading and I needed something that would secure the damage and allow it to not spread anymore. This patch is made for tubes but it actually worked really well on the seats as well. 5/5 stars would recommend!
