The 1.5-inch Bunkie Board , Split Bunkie Board provides a surface foundation for any platform beds, bunks and daybeds. It adds support to the mattress and will keep mattress stay in good shape thus extending the life of your mattress. It will give a firm bottom support for the mattress and raises the mattress up for about 1.5 inches. When a mattress is placed directly on slats or metal spring, the mattress will have the tendency to rip or sink. These can be avoided with the use of a Bunkie board. Using a Bunkie board doubles the mattress' life expectancy. This Bunkie board is a good alternative in lieu of a box spring that may be too high for day beds. It will give the bed a lift without adding much height. This Bunkie board is strong enough to be used directly on bed frame in lieu of a box spring. I have one of those basic platform mattress stand that you could get a retailer such as Walmart for around $125 that you just throw mattress on and you are good normally. Well with one of those softer rolled up mattresses that you get shipped to you it tends to not be as supportive as he would want. These were a savior to my back as well as preventing the mattress from pushing through the openings of the platform stand itself.     • Measure twice, buy once: Did not fit my twin frame.
The whole purpose of this product is to provide a base, like a boxspring would to a mattress on a twin bed. These boards seem perfectly well made and would do the job, if they were about 1" wider. Yes, I tried rotating them in case they were not symmetrical. But still, they are resting on the floor *beneath* the bed. If your frame already has slats and you want more support, this could be fine, but if your frame is a rectangle with ledges to place a bunkie board or box spring on, you may well be disappointed. I am not excited about having to figure out how to return something this large, but, since it's essentially useless on the floor, return it I shall and figure out how to have Home Depot cut me some plywood that is the right size. ... show more

    • Quality Replacement outdoor chair cushions in hard to find size!
These cushions replacements are amazing. The foam is thick and the outer covers have zippers so they can be removed and washed . The bottom of the covers are also slip proof . Nice! This size was hard to find . You won’t be disappointed with these .

I ordered this item 2x. the first time I received a queen instead of the full i ordered. I returned the queen and ordered the full again. I talked with Awhi in customer service on 7/22 and on 7/26. I did not want to return the second order as it was the correct size. I told him I was willing to pay and expected to pay for the order but he said to accept it as a gift because of so much confusion.
