I was looking for an essential oil to add to my wool dryer balls, to give them a slight, pleasant odour. I had bought some Cedar oil because I thought it would be nice, but it wasn't suitable for clothes somehow. Buying this selection, (and a humidifier/oil diffuser), was great way for me to work through a lot of different scents to determine what smelled good in real life. I found three which would be great for my dryer application, I probably only really liked about 1/3 of the different oils in the box, but that's exactly the purpose of a sampler style like this, with relatively small quantities. They supplied two droppers, I only needed one, but it's probably convenient for many people that there are two. Didn't give it five stars for 'giftability' simply because it's not much use without a diffuser or other delivery system, so it would be an annoying present if the recipient didn't already have that. When I bought the oils which I liked, in larger quantities, I tried to find the same brand, not only to guarantee smell consistency, but also because I thought they made a good product, although I am no expert, it's a subjective view. ... show more

The oils themselves are wonderful and since I only just got this set yesterday I've had a chance to just try a few of them out. But I am confident they will all be as good as the first 5 I tried out! I am new to aromatherapy, but after some advice I thought I give it try. Been very pleased with these products... still kind of experimenting with different smells and scents. But I do enjoy using and the scents are nice.

    • Oil missing & Bottle Inconvenient
Lavender was not included in the package but rather it had thyme in it instead. Lavender is one of the most popular essential oils, and it is shown on the listing as being a part of the set, so I'm a bit disappointed it was not in there. Also, I'm not really loving that you can't pour drops directly from the bottle. Most essential oil bottles use an attachment that allows you to portion it by drops. In this set it only pours out, so you need to use the included eye droppers, which also means you need to wipe down the dropper as you use it for different oils so that it doesn't contaminate the oils from multiple uses. Cute set in general, but these issues would lead me not to purchase again. ... show more

Large variety of essential oils. I use them in a diffuser/humidifier and most of the scents are pleasant. The one complaint that I have is that the seals on the little bottles are really hard to remove. Unless you get lucky, it's pretty hard to open a bottle without spilling and/or getting oil on your hands. ... show more
