I do not normally write reviews, but when I purchased this I was searching for a cost efficient mattress for my bare futon frame. I could not find ANY reviews on this product for that purpose that it was used for, so I figured I would write one for anyone looking to use this for a futon frame rather than on the floor. I purchased a standard full-sized futon from from Amazon. I was trying to find a futon matress below $100 - it was impossible. I came across this product and spent almost an hour going through reviews in hopes to find one stating someone used it for a futon and I couldn’t, so I went out on a whim and bought it since the floor mattress for its price had good reviews overall. IT IS PERFECT! Full-size mattress fits perfectly on my full-size futon frame with no issues, it is not super thick but I am only on hour 24 of the recommended 48 hours to inflate. BUT for the price range and its thickness at the moment, it is already worth the purchase. I’m sure it will not be as comfy as a standard matress since it will be only about 4inches thick, but I think it will be perfect for temporary overnight guests and worst comes to worse I can always purchase a mattress topper for it in the future. Overall, if you are looking to purchase this for a futon frame DO IT. It is a great product, packaged with care, and you cannot beat the price point for the great quality you receive. In about a week i plan to sleep on it to test it and will add to this review how comfy it was. Thank you for a great versatile product!! (Ps - the bulky cushions in the photo are pillows I added for comfortability, the mattress fits perfectly to the size of the futon:) ... show more

This is not as comfortable as advertised. I thought this would be a lot thicker. I have to layer with a mattress topper or form topper. If you have any circulation issues do not purchase. Does not give enough body support. I would say use this 3 night max before needing to get rest on a real mattress for support. ... show more

At first I bought this for the simple fact that it has a low profile, you can fold it up when not it use. In my current living situation, I don't have room for a bed, so this seemed like the perfect option. I also purchased a tatami mat, just as a barrier between the futon and the floor, and a buckwheat hull pillow. As suggested, I purchased the Amazon Basics twin size sheet set, the fitted sheet fits almost perfectly on this. At first, I was thinking maybe I had made a mistake, the first night was not great, as I had existing back and neck pain (It didn't help that I didn't let it expand for 3 days before use.) However, after some light stretching the pain subsided a bit. After about a week of use, I can confidently say most of my back pain is GONE. I was using a firmer memory foam mattress prior to this, and I remember waking up with back pain all the time. It takes a bit to get used to, but I don't remember tossing and turning much while using this. The other mattress I was using, I remember turning back and forth frequently throughout the night. I'm more of a side sleeper and I can confirm that this will work for that. I will say that the included "sack" for storage is complete garbage. It immediately started ripping when I first used it. I have switched to simply folding the futon in an s shape, which works perfectly fine. Also, the included straps are dangerous, the clasps are brittle, one snapped while I was cinching it and nearly took my eye out. The included dust cover is fine, I put it on, but still use a sheet. The dust cover is soft, but I could see through it, so it's potential to actually protect the futon is limited. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. ... show more

We had a recliner in the nursery where we would either rock or hold our infant back to sleep. Now that he's a toddler, it's getting a little snug and warm on the recliner. There was enough floor space in the room to lay down a full-sized floor mattress. This purchase was so worth the money! Now, when my toddler needs mama or papa to sleep with in the same room as him, there is enough room to comfortably and safely rest on the floor for all of us. You can roll/fold it to put it away. It comes with a belt to keep your rolled up mattress a bit tight while you try to slip it into the storage bag, but the storage bag already ripped when I first attempted to pack it in by myself. A full sized mattress has quite a bit of weight that it's tedious for one person my size to put away alone. So to tell you the truth, the mattress just stays on the floor in the nursery since we know it's pretty much going to be used daily. The next time I pack this mattress up will probably be when it's no longer needed in the nursery on an almost daily basis. Afterwards, we plan to use it for guests that need something more comfortable to lay on aside from the couch or the floor. ... show more

Currently, sleeping on the floor, is like a job. Browsing, I found this. At first, I was disappointed, after unboxing and slipping the cover on it. Then the night came, and I slept on it. I was pleased. I have the same complaint as everyone else, price to quality ratio. If I bought it from Wal-Mart, I'd end up with the whole futon frame as well. But, it is comfortable. They should take about $15-$20 off (taxes included). However, it isn't a bad purchase. Easy to store, and you wake with no pain. I may buy the queen and put it on a platform frame. I don't regret the purchase overall, but I did expect more plush for the price. Solid 4 stars. I am not gonna be grumpy today ☺️. ... show more
