We needed this to run some medical equipment for our family to get them from home to doctors appointments, this unit was very easy to install, the con is the positive and negative wires that they give you are very short, luckily the battery is just behind the passenger seat under the floor board with a access panel, if this battery would have been under the hood we would have been out the expense for longer wiring, but instead we got very lucky. I figure they would give longer cable wires with this unit. The pros is it works very well, the remote works fabulous but we decided that we did not need the remote because it's easily accessed to turn it on and off. Will probably buy another here soon for my pickup truck, but will have to buy longer wires to install ita. Great product runs very quietly. Will give an update review in 6 months or so. I recently bought the Inverter 1000W Car Power Inverter for a camping trip in my 2003 Subaru Outback, and it was perfect for my needs! Coupled with a 4 AWG Battery Cable kit, it worked GREAT! This inverter powered three devices simultaneously, including an 800W espresso machine (gotta have my coffee in the morning). The dual AC outlets and 3.0A USB and Type-C ports provided plenty of options for charging and powering all my essential devices. The installation was straightforward, and the inverter fit neatly on the passenger floorboard. It delivered reliable and consistent power throughout my trip, making it an essential part of my off-grid setup. Although I plan to upgrade to a 3000W inverter eventually, this 1000W inverter offers unbeatable value for its price and performance. The unit works as expected: I haven’t tried it at full load yet but both the 120VAC and usb outputs work well, and the cables are long enough (although just barely). I only gave it 4 stars because the packaging is bad and I can’t help but think I got lucky that the mailman was gentle with it. The main unit was marginally well supported in the box, and was probably protected from rough handling from 4 of the sides, but the cables and fuses were just rattling around in there loose and could have been easily been damaged by getting smashed by the main unit. It was shipped in its original packaging, not in a secondary box, which is fine and logical. Shipping it in a bigger box wouldn’t have done much to reduce the risk of shipping damage. The better solution is for the original packaging to be improved. ... show more

Installed in the trunk of a crossover using 4 gauge stranded wire to connect to a 100A breaker and the vehicle's battery. Powered my full size fridge without issue. Stayed quiet during operation, I don't think the fan ever even turned on in my case. Having a built in usb-c PD port is a nice bonus too. Power draw when inverter is switched off is very low, and doesn't seem to cause any noticeable battery drain after a week of the vehicle being parked. ... show more

12v cigarette lighter function does not work at all. Fuses are good and tried on multiple vehicles, other devices can be powered by these 12v ports but this inverter will not power on when connected using the cigarette lighter. The 12v plug is connected red to red, black to black as it should be. Did power on when connected directly to battery. The entire reason I got this was to use a cigarette lighter to power it, which again, does not work. I believe either the inverter or the plug accessory Itself is shorted internally because after plugging it into a previously functioning 12v port in my car, the port stopped working as if it had blown a fuse for that port. ... show more

I wanted to use this for charging my electric bikes while carrying them on the bike carrier, using my tow hitch hook up. The inverter seems to work ok for simultaneously charging to bikes (120 w each) I had to use a cigarette lighter socket adapter on the hitch. Be sure to know the wattage you'll require for whatever you plan to plug into it. This will work good for most small electrical items up to a higher demanding laptop but forget about vacuuming your car with a shop vac connected to it. The two plug in ports is nice. My biggest knock on the product is both style cables are really short. Probably best to make/get longer cables and run them directly off the battery. ... show more
