This electric skateboard is a lot of fun. It feels insanely fast even though it is only 16 mph. The fact that it does not have handlebars like a scooter makes it feel like you're going even faster. The instructions were not clear about the speed setting. It took a little playing around to figure it out. I can't believe this is an entry level board. I can only imagine how fast the regular boards are. My 14 and 11 year old love this. The skateboard mentions this is for entry level but I personally think it's quite fast for an entry level rider to use it. It definitely takes time and a learning curve to get used to riding this. My nephew hopped on and was immediately impressed by the speed. Luckily he's had some type of skateboarding background and was able to balance himself. I don't know if a novice skateboarder would be able to. I would recommend wearing your protective gear and taking it slow with this. After you've mastered it, I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with it and might even wish it went faster. ... show more
