I bought a MDD drive to use as an external drive in a case I bought. It worked but is very slow. My other external drives are Seagate and Western Digital and are about twice as fast. I decided to buy another MDD drive for backups. I ordered one and it kept loosing connection with my computer and finally it said sector one was bad and I lost all my data. Sent it back and ordered another one. It would not format so I sent it back. Will spend the extra money from now on for a better drive. Worked great for 3months then deadlined. Lost 4tb of data. Warranty says 3years but you have to figure out who that is, true warranty seems to be 30days...learn from my loss

I have a Dell G5000 gaming desktop. I've bought dozens of brand name sata drives in the past with no problems. I decided to give an off brand a shot, so I took a chance with this product. There's no sense in getting more detailed than IT IS DEAD ON ARRRIVAL. Nothing. No detection. It just doesn't work. Lesson learned. I will never buy an off brand sata again. ... show more

Within 1 week of light use, this drive started sounding like a popcorn maker. This is one of the most obvious red flags for a failing hard drive. Terrible product quality if they are shipping defective drives out. DO NO BUY. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
