  • Great Economy Fatbike with Front Suspension!
Color: Fat-Black
I bought this black fatbike to compare with a couple other economy fatbikes I have because the frame looked intriguing and there was a front shock. I wanted to see how well a basic shock worked, and its pretty good! Combined with low 8-10 psi in the tires the shock does good smoothing out bumpy dirt roads and mild rocky trails. It has no damping or adjustment, simple spring action, is thunky both when fully extending and bottoming out so that is somewhat annoying on heavy bumps but really it does great on the mild bumps. The Tourney level derailleurs are ok but did not have the range for the megarange cassette I swapped in for better gearing, so I put on an Alivio. The front derailleur mounts on a standard size tube so you can put on whatever you want. The frame and shock are worth the price, then add wider range cassette and chainwheel if you want a true climbing bike. I put on a Vuelta MTB Comp Crankset. Brakes are nice and decent. The shift levers are wonky so I put on a set of gripshifts but the stock ones work ok. Very fun bike! The top tube is really tall to stand over, 36" from the ground mid tube. ... show more

  • Awesome bike
Color: Fat-Black
Great bike. Tires are nice and hold up well for my son who just won't stop growing. Was Easy to assemble the few pieces that need assembled with clear instructions.

  • No No No!
Color: Fat-Black
Im a bike guy so figured I'd just fix any minor problems that would arise with this uber-cheap, all steel, nearly 60 lb fatty. Sometimes it just aint worth it it. Theres a slew of these hump-backed steel frame bikes out there going by various names. First, that cool looking hump - check you standover height or you'll injure a gonad. Next - The right brake adjuster knob was missing & the left trigger broke on first ride & was replace with a $16 EF-51 shimano copy. Then noticed it was impossible to adjust the front disk brake due to both a bent rotor & slightly tweaked lower fork stanchions. Then on the last ride the freewheel stripped on 1st gear. Apart from all that its a great bike! Yeah right ;-\ ... show more

  • This snow bike is easy to convert to electric!
Color: Fat-Black
Always wanted a fat tire bike for the longest time. I really love the frame a lot though. Those were the main reasons I bought it. Had to throw a conversion kit on it, and it rides like a beast now! I highly recommend if you're interested in converting your fat tire bike, you must use this bike as your base bike! You wont regret it in the long run. You can fit a huge battery in the frame, there are no twist gear shifters in the way of your throttle, or custom grips and the frame is not aluminum it is steel because a magnet sticks to it. All in all, i've been really enjoying my daily commute on this bike and I give a tremendous amount of credit to the makers Max4Out for distributing an amazing and unique fat tire snow bike. ... show more

  • Not for tall people!
Color: Fat-Black
I'm 6 feet tall, and this just doesn't work for me, even with the seat all the way up and an aftermarket piece to raise the handlebars. Impossible to get full extension with my legs when riding, which is super awkward and incredibly uncomfortable. The part of the frame that the rear derailleur attaches to is super thin, as well, so if I pedal too hard, the chain skips. For a short person, this might not be a problem, but the leverage I get on the pedals with my long legs just puts too much pressure on it and it flexes on the two highest gears, making the chain skip. Also, if you don't push the button on the handlebar gear shift when going to a higher gear, you'll bust the number piece so that it'll no longer move to tell you which gear you're on. Other than those things, though, it's put together pretty well for such an inexpensive bike. The shock is great and works well, and the stock seat is pretty comfortable. Overall, the frame is solid (with the aforementioned exception), and surprisingly light in weight. I can't ride it, so docking it two stars, but the cons I mentioned would mostly only apply to a tall person who is a seasoned rider. If you're short, and you keep the button thing in mind, this would probably make you very happy, as it is approximately a thousand dollars less expensive than most fat tire bikes you'll find. I ended up getting a Mongoose Maus, which is a little pricier, doesn't have the derailleur attachment problem (although it does still attach to the frame), but I had to get a comfier seat, and you can't attach a full rear rack to that one like you can this one. Both bikes need wide mud fenders, which I got for both. ... show more

  • Great ride
Color: Fat-Black
I am very happy with my bike. Big upgrade from my old bike, this one is tall. Those four inch tires make rough terrain an easy ride. Only problem I had was one bad inner tube, but that happens. I am very pleased it is not that heavy and easy to peddle and shift.

  • Purchase handlebar riser for taller folks
Color: Fat-Black
Purchased this bike for my son. 5'11 and almost 300lbs. It came half assembled as described. Watch the video and it helps especially for first timers. The inner tube was faulty. When we went to fill it. It burst at 15psi. I contacted the seller thru email on the card that came with. They were helpful and sent us a replacement no issues. Recommend not filling higher than 25psi even if the manual says 30. The handlebar is fixed and my son almost hits his knees pedaling and needs to lean over and hurts his back. He uses it just pavement riding not off roading. Recommend purchasing a handlebar riser for easy riders. ... show more
