The bunk bed gives a sense of safety and heavy duty. The wood feels great, it does wobble a little bit when someone is climbing up the bunk but not enough to disturb the person sleeping at the bottom bunk. I assembled it with another person and it took about 5 hours with little breaks in between. Overall, the instructions are pretty clear, you don’t have to be a BOB the builder to be able to build this. I love it and It feels very durable so I’ll probably be selling it or donating once we no longer need it. Definitely a great buy. ... show more

My 60# daughter climbed up on the finished thing and the whole thing wiggles. My husband is good at setting things up- when he saw the wiggling he asked me if we can return it. Cheap. Not sturdy. Wish I would not have bought it.

It’s a good, sturdy, pretty bed. It took two days for me to put together by myself, but that was with two boys under the age of three dividing my attention. It’s simple enough to put together, a little time consuming, would definitely have been easier with two people. I like the color. It’s very sturdy, we’ve been sleeping on it the last few nights. We like that’s it’s actual wood, not plastic or metal. My husband appreciates the height between bunks as he’s pretty tall. This was an excellent purchase. Definitely worth the price. ... show more

I’m giving a four star for the sturdiness of the bed but a two star for the finish. I like how sturdy the bed is. I dislike the finish. The color is consistent but the finish is dull in most places with a few shiny spot's all over the wood. The slats are too far apart for a memory foam mattress. This bed frame is absolutely beautiful. The wood color is perfect. Exactly as pictured. The sturdiness is beyond compare to other wooden bunk beds we have purchased. If you’re looking for a heavy duty reliable bunk bed this is it. It took my husband about 4 hours to set up by himself. (I supervised)😂 The instructions are confusing as hell but he’s handy so he figured most of it out on his own. The quality of the material and some of the engineering is quite good. The directions are C minus at best. They are confusing, inaccurate and they seemed to be worse the farther into the project you get. To the manufacturer: Put the screws, bolts, and miscellaneous hardware into separate bags. It would be very helpful. The pictures of hardware are not good enough to easily determine which one are which. I built 90% of it myself, but you will need two people to put the top bunk on top of the bottom bunk. It took me 9 hours to complete. ... show more
