I love this collar! We have two Belgian Malinois and used to use the choke collars because the older one would go after small dogs that would walk by our yard. These collars are much more gentle than the choke collar but have held up really well and do their job. Highly recommend!

Better than expected, high quality, sturdy collar with a comfortable fit. Bright, beautiful color. I ordered this martingale collar because I have a whippet that's an escape artist, and this type of collar fits the bill to assure her safety.

Hoped that the small size collar would also be not as wide (1") as were this manufacturer's larger collars. The chain was MUCH thicker, too, than I expected. It works fine, and has a slide lock on the plastic buckle preventing it from catching on something (or with somebody's help) from coming loose. I had purchased a similar collar a few years ago that was exactly as I wanted, but unfortunately, they no longer sell via Amazon, but do have an online store. The webbing on this collar is strong, and the stitching is visible at night should lights hit your dog/collar. All in all, it does as intended. I'd hoped the collar with and chain would have been 5/8" wide and the chain lighter. For a small dog, it seems overkill. But, yes, if the need arises, I will buy this product again. My dog's previous other UKNOWN brand's plastic buckle broke on one side of the plastic buckle; still could work with just one side catch, but I wasn't willing to risk it failing. The Max and Neo Stainless Steel Chain Martingale Collar is hands down the best collar I’ve ever bought for my dogs! My two littles have theirs in their favorite colors. First of all, the quality is outstanding—the stainless steel chain is super durable and doesn’t tarnish or rust, even after lots of outdoor use. It does not stick when cinched like choke collars are so famous for. The collar feels strong and secure without being too heavy, and the nylon is soft, which means it’s gentle on my dogs' necks. What I love most is the martingale design, which gently tightens when he pulls, giving me better control without choking or discomfort. My dogs respond so much better with this collar, and walks are so much more enjoyable! Plus, it’s incredibly easy to put on and take off, and it doesn’t get tangled in the fur. As a huge bonus to me being in animal rescue, Max and Neo donates a collar to a dog rescue for every purchase, which makes me feel great about supporting a brand with a purpose. Collar is well made. It's helping to train my rescue Pup who is very stubborn. I tried the Prong Collar which he responded poorly too so bought the Mediun Martingale. Its making training easier.
