    • 5 Stars? Almost, some stools wobble, but are fine (don’t wobble) when sat on.

The overall quality of the chairs is great. The cushions are very well-made, very well, padded, and very comfortable. We purchased the “Reclaimed Oak Finish with Ash Grey Fabric Cushion”. The wood color is warm with grays in it. The is not a stained. It’s a painted coating but it seems like good quality. We wish it were a tad darker in the wood tones, but there may be others that are absolutely thrilled with this color. The fabric is a very good quality and is light-medium gray. The combo works well enough for us to keep them and overall we are happy. We placed three our kitchen island. We placed two at our counter that we have near our garage entrance. OK now to why we didn’t give them five stars. We purchased “used like new“ for the discounted price. They all arrived brand new and even the boxes were not in bad shape at all. I followed the install directions correctly by not tightening the hardware until the proper time. Three of the chairs had some wobble/rocking when you touched them. I was able to place felt pads under 2 legs to fix one of the chairs. But the other two have so much wobble on two legs that the pads were not even enough. I will say when you sit on them, they do not wobble, it’s just when you’re not sitting on them. I measured the legs and two of them are slightly shorter than the other two on the chairs that wobble, so I wonder if they discovered a manufacturing tolerance issue and that’s why they sell some “used like now”. We have the two wobbly chairs by the garage entry counter , and they pretty much never get sit on so we’re fine, and even when we do sit on them, they don’t wobble. But the wobble distracts from the quality of the set and prevents me from giving them five stars. For me they are a 4.5. I would not hesitate to buy them again and if you can live with a little wobble when not sitting on them, then feel free to save some money and get the “used like new”. One last comment, the glue tip that they provide is difficult to fit into the holes of the legs. I used gorilla brand wood glue, It was much easier. ... show more

We bought two of the 31" stools in weathered oak for our kitchen counter. They were fairly easy to assemble and appear to be of good quality. We put scotch guard on the fabric right away. Hopefully that'll keep stains at bay. We're very happy with the look of these stools and they are comfortable as well. ... show more

I really like these stools. They fit well under my counter and are not in the way at all. They are very sturdy and comfortable to sit on. They are a nice cream color; the wood has a slight gray grain to it but nothing that is obvious.

    • Beautiful barstools
Color: Reclaimed Oak Size: Counter - 26" Seat Height
These barstools are beautiful and very classy looking. They were somewhat involved to build - not difficult per se, but a lengthy process that had more steps than your usual build-it-yourself furniture. The quality of all the pieces seems quite good, and they're very sturdy once assembled. We ordered used, like new, and one was definitely not "like new" - it had glue marks from a previous, failed assembly attempt, some scratches to the wood, and a couple pulled threads on the cushion. I probably would've returned that one, but we didn't notice until we'd already finished assembling it - our mistake. Additionally, we received the wrong stool for the third one we ordered, and getting a replacement was a hassle - they were supposed to ship the replacement immediately and we'd return the one we had within 7 days, but then they didn't ship it until a couple days after we sent ours back, which made for a difficult time for us as we needed them for an event. So, a bit of a mess between the damaged stool and the poor customer service on the replacement stool, but otherwise a great product and in the end it worked out alright enough. ... show more
