Decent stools, not white as advertised and shown on Amazon site, more cream but ok. Assembly fairly easy, one cross piece had a pre-drilled hole off kilter and one had a crack pre assembly. Bought some Tite Bond wood glue (let cure for 24 hours) because provided glue was on the skimpy side. I absolutely love my stools. They are very sturdy and look great. I work from home often, and find myself sitting all day at the bar on these stools and I don’t think they are uncomfortable at all! When I made my purchase I was going between this style and more of a chair style with a back. I am really glad I went with these. The ONLY downfall was the assembly. The screws it came with were not long enough, it wouldn’t hold the legs on at all. We went to Lowe’s and bought longer screws and some better wood glue, it required a little bit of adjustments but after it was done they have held up great. ... show more

Easy to assemble, arrived quickly, and these stools are very durable. There was a fine, white dust around the wood, but I'm guessing it's from the white-wash look over the stain, but it wiped off easily.

These stools, assembled, are beautiful. But what a nightmare the assembly was. My husband had an awful time trying to screw the provided screws into the stools. Also, there is far from enough wood glue provided. We had to purchase some to use, which was definitely necessary as the screws didn’t seem to fit properly. They boast a website with a video tutorial- that only says “coming soon”. I’ll come back to review after a year to see how they’ve held together. ... show more

I ordered these and got them four days early, very happy with that. I have been looking for stools to fit under my kitchen island, something that was not to intrusive and these fit great. They went together easy. All hardware was there and easy to put together and the directions were easy to read. The seat cushion is a little firm but it’s new. I don’t feel wood under the seat it’s is nicely padded and thick just needs to be sat on a few times. The wood is nice. It is a little more yellow than what I thought it would be but it still works. I normally never leave reviews but I was impressed but these. I AWAYS read the reviews before I buy so I hope this helps someone. I would buy these again! Good quality! ... show more
