I lightened my level 2/3 hair to a level 7. I toned my hair but it was still brassier than I would have liked. I've used this mask 3 times so far, and after the 3rd time I noticed a significant toning of my brassiness. I plan on using this once a week until my hair is the desired coolness. The mask is also very moisturizing, it acts as a deep conditioning treatment. The product is very thick but spreads through hair very easily. I've read other's reviews stating they don't like the scent; I really enjoy the scent. And it doesn't leave much of a scent after rinsing. I've found that I get the best results by spraying my hair down with a spray bottle and combing through it so it's just damp, then coat it with the toning mask and leave it on for 1 - 2 hours. It doesn't turn my scalp or skin blue, or even the lighter parts of my hair, however my fingernails do get a slight blue tinge. My stylist recommended this product. The scent is on the stronger side, but it works well to remove the brassy tones from my blonde, color treated hair. It’s great at adding moisture to dry hair.

Used one time for recommended time (10 mins) didn’t really see results but it made my hair super soft. I accidentally left it on for an hour today and definitely feel like it made a difference and cooled me down / took out the brassy tones! Smells good; does stain your hands a bit

I was skeptical but desperate to correct my super brassy highlights. I have naturally light brown/dark blond hair that tends to red undertones and my last highlight job came out orange! I took another reviewers advice and lived with it for a few weeks while deep conditioning to. repair the bleach damage. I washed my hair, towel dried it then sectioned it.
